Welp, 1564 and 1565 were the same episode. I wonder what number the skipped one was.

According to the rules of the Quarterfinals Weeks in Twin Car Giveaway, a team had to score as much as $1,020 or more in the Big Sweep in order to participate in the Semi-Finals. Here are all the known totals. I have no idea how much Al & Liz had, ditto Rick & Aaron. Strangely, Stephanie & Kathy scored over $1,020, but didn't make it.
Richard & Maurice ($1,296) Rick & James ($1,292) Karra & Kirsten ($1,287) Steven & Aisha ($1,222) Rick & Aaron ($1,203) Suzanne & Brigit ($1,137) DeAnna & Lucy ($1,094) Coby & Lisa ($1,088) Charla & Marilla ($1,080) Kaisee & Sue ($1,078) Chelle & Darlene ($1,033) Stephanie & Kathy ($1,031) Jill & Andrew ($1,029) Kacy & Michelle ($1,019) Karen & Bert ($1,003) Louise & Ricci ($1,002) Emma & Ashley ($956) Rich & Morgan ($950) Althea & Marie ($902) Al & Liz ($885) Tim & Andre ($881) Donna & Connie ($849) Robin & Teri ($835) Michael & Glenda ($781) Carolyn & Darryl ($765) Angie & Colette ($739) Wendi & Brenda ($731) Stephanie & Tyna ($726) Maria & Abby ($708) Trish & Victoria ($684) Rodney & Alan ($675) Cindy & Cory ($665) Debbie & Diane ($658) Ana & Alicia ($655) Shira & Karen ($644) Astrid & Don ($610) Tamara & T.L. ($589) Roxie & Roz ($583) Cynthia & Teresa ($573) Lisa & Angie ($544) Grainger & Joan ($512) Tomechia & Jade ($511) Carole & Bobbie ($509) Lana & Nicole ($436) Amy & Todd ($318)

My guess would be that Stephanie and Kathy were unable to attend the second taping for the semi-finals, so they went with the next team down the line who had the highest score after them (Jill and Andrew). Stephanie and Kathy did mention in their initial appearance that they were flight attendants based in Philadelphia and New York, respectively, so they obviously weren't local to California. Maybe it wasn't feasible for them to go out to California for a second taping.

Right now, Buzzr is airing the episode with two moments: The debut of the $200 Cracker Jackpot, and where the clip of Lynn & Kelly dancing down the aisles came from. Possibly the best winning moment on the show ever.
And paying attention to the studio audience in the intro, we should be seeing these two episodes soon:
Ellen & Paula vs. Niki & Bobby vs. Danielle & Sonoma Michael & Amy vs. Brad & Debbie vs. Jenny & Noemi
Side note: Approximate totals for two teams in Twin Car Giveaway have been updated.

... Did I ever post this here? I know it's from the 1960s, but Supermarket Sweep started in the now-defunct Food Fair chain. Watch the first of two parts to a 1967 episode, from Wallingford (in Connecticut!).

This version was taped at many Food Fairs on the east coast.

Isn’t that the only available 60’s episode or were there others? 60’s footage can be seen at the beginning of the 1989 pilot

This version was taped at many Food Fairs on the east coast. FOod Fair in Margate, NJ hosted Sweep one week. Food Fair became Pantry Pride before the chain closed in the late 70s.

When the 1990-2002 era did a Pilot on December 18, 1989, it appears they went to an actual Supermarket here in California, and not a television studio. It's been suggested that the December 18, 1989 Pilot was at either a Lucky's or a Sav-On.

The first two Cruise to Paradise episodes aired earlier this morning on Buzzr. Unfortunately fresh episodes are finished and they revert to 1521 this coming Tuesday morning.

pyramidpower14 ivoryface86, I think I found Mike & Desiree and Patty & Maggie's respective original episodes: #1155 and #1165. The proof? Both teams were present in the studio audience for both respective tape dates. Though both episodes are skipped, #1152-#1154/#1156-#1157 and #1164/#1166-#1168 are available. Thanks to Matthew Austin for noticing them.

Now it's confirmed that the Friday Finals of the Cruise To Paradise was #1588. So now we should determine that the Monday episode should be #1586 and the Thursday episode(with the $5000 Bonus Sweep win) being #1587. Then we'll find out afterwards if the first set of Sweep of Champions of the season comes in or this season's Sweep of Champions would be delayed to the last 10 episodes of the season AND of the Lifetime TV run.

Unfortunately I have a feeling that something happened to Rick And Aarons first episode in the Twin Car Giveaway. I am thinking either the episode is lost or that they weren't able to convert it due to tape damage. I do not the the entire episode has been re ran.
