As a game show fan I'm curious to know facts about game show hosts and I am just curious to know what Wink Martindale's whole name is? Because I find it cool that Wink Martindale named himself Wink because it's such a cute name and wonderful too. And another source says that Wink Martindale's name is really Winston and he nicknamed himself Wink because it was really cute,
What's the story behind this fact?,

According to the Internet Movie Database, his original full name is Winston Conrad Martindale and Wink Martindale is his full professional name (or pseudonym).

His real first name is in fact Winston. He originally went by "Win Martindale" professionally, "Win" being an accepted diminuitive of "Winston" at the time, but at some point in the 1960s "Win" evolved into "Wink." According to the story I always heard, it started when someone misspoke when introducing him one day, and he liked the sound of the error so much he decided to keep it.
Don't hold me to this as gospel, however; like many urban legends of this genre, there might be as much myth to that story as fact.

That's a cute fact about Wink Martindale that I never knew and I never thought that Wink chose that nickname as his stage name. If I was a game show hostess my name would be Kel or Kels because it sounds cool,
