Attention GSP members!
I'd like to take some of the attention off of the dramaz going on in the Ultimate Survivor board (yeah, that's what we call "off days") to remind you about what this board's true purpose really is. If you haven't been around long enough to figure it out, you might actually like this.
In March of 2012, I had originally made GSP in order to house members from the GSN boards in case people had pissed them off to a point of no return. Some of the users on the board had taken over the board, getting the last word in, and that was a way to say that perhaps it was time to get away from the board for once and for all. Thus, Game Show Paradise was made. Originally, it was advertised in my signature at GSN, but nobody seemed to come over. It wasn't until November of that same year when things picked up.
You see, Steve (Neko) had two games going on the GSN board. They were the UGSHS main game and either the MDM or ToL. One day, he finds out that both threads were deleted and that he was banned from the boards with no reasoning given. We talked it over online, and decided it would be best to carry things over from GSN to GSP.
December was our busiest month. The Ultimate Survivor series came into play, GSN City was brought over, and we still had a place to share game show news and whatnot. That's what I'm here to talk to you about, though.
Game Show Paradise is a forum dedicated to game show news and information. I had agreed to host Neko's UGSHS series, and I was taking my chances with it because I knew that it would gain the most attention. But I'd like to make this place look like it's not just a place for games. It's a game show board for a reason.
If you could, please participate in game show discussion. Even if you wanted to talk about your favorite aspects of game shows. It's okay. The more we build that section, the better I think we'd be in the long run. I can't do this without you, though. I can't stress it enough.
