From the files of the great John Ricci, Jr. comes this compilation of CBS Joker's Wild clips from early 1975 with a special feature you may never have heard of, the "Lucky Hundred" Contest. Here's how it worked: In the Face the Devil round, all of the $100 cards were changed to feature the word "Lucky" and a circle of four-leaf clovers. They still worked the same as always, but if a contestant managed to get a triple of these $100 cards, in addition to the normal automatic win an endgame triple got you, s/he would also win a trip around the world and a significant (for 1975 daytime TV) cash bonus.
Wait'll you see how this contest was eventually won! (As a bonus, you'll also see something else that started, perhaps, much earlier than you probably remember it doing... and about 200 or so very familiar "fashion statements" in the audience!)

Um, I guess I may be showing my age, but what "fashion statements"?

▲ You mean you haven't noticed those suspiciously-familiar name tags? ;^)

Does these Joker's Wild episodes have the theme "The Savers" that Disneyland borrowed to use as the theme for the Main Street Electrical Parade? Because I read in the liner notes of my GSN game show themes cd that the same composers of the Joker's Wild theme also composed many themes for Disneyland's parades and the Main Street Electrical Parade theme is the exact same theme as The Joker's Wild theme, Is this true?, Kelsey

No. The theme you hear at the start of this clip is "Joker's Jive" by Alan Thicke. (They'd stopped using "The Savers" a few months prior to this.) Compare the two: "The Savers""Joker's Jive"

Umm, you wouldn't happen to have a clean version of the music used when she won, do you?
Also, as for the name tags, I believe those started in September 4, 1972, the day The New Price is Right (AKA The TPIR we all know and love) premiered.

i have to admit that the best part about the 1975 episodes of The Jokers Wild is Lucky Hundred Feature.
