In 2002 GSN introduced Bingo America that was GSN's most popular show and was a fun game that involved trivia with bingo and it was the debut game show of Patrick Duffy {Dallas} who made his game show hosting debut but then was replaced by former Family Feud host and Home Improvement star Richard Karn in Bingo America's second season, Did anyone watch Bingo America?, Kelsey

There've been a lot of attempts over the years to adapt Bingo as a TV game show, usually with some form of play-at-home aspect. Bingo America was no better than others, though it did at least come up with a semi-compelling studio game.
The biggest hurdle to overcome is that Bingo is, by its very nature, purely a game of chance where winning and losing is completely out of the hands of the players. Thus, the best adaptations have involved only using Bingo as part of the format, not the format itself (as in Lingo), or by merely adapting the five-in-a-row format of a Bingo card to a more traditional TV game (witness Trump Card or the endgame of the 1978 Jeopardy!, or even Blockbusters if you want to stretch the definition). Bingo America, ABC's National Bingo Night, and even Bingo at Home from the late 1960s with Jim Perry are all examples of trying to take the concept too literally, and discovering that however exciting Bingo might be to play, it's death itself to simply watch other people play it. (Admittedly, National Bingo Night did try to spice things up by having the studio contestants play some Price is Right-style games using Bingo balls, but it only helped a little bit.)

I remember giving up on playing along with this show because it was taking too much ink to print the cards and I never won lol.

I won one night, it was May 2008, I won $100 when the bucks were doubled for Mother's Day. Got my money in July 2008. Today, I've still got the money in the bank.
I remember when I was in the process of cleaning up my bedroom, and my closet, I came across the winning Bingo America card that won me $100. I had forgot I still had that. It brought back memories, but I did shred it. It was collecting dust, but I was happy to find it.
And, that night I printed out 10 cards, the max. I didn't do that often, that was probably the first time I did that, and I was lucky for it.
I agree, it used up a lot of ink. It was worth it that night, but really, it was a waste of ink, especially for the 9 remaining cards that weren't winners. It was fun, I wish GSN had kept the show. It was a good show. Not sure I'd continue to play along now, but it was a good show.
I actually remember, I thought I had 2 winning cards, but it appeared like I highlighted the number on the one card in error.
