In an effort to reduce the levels of ambiguity around here, we have decided to rename some of our forums to better reflect their intended focus.
Game Shows of the Past is now The Classics Era. Game Shows of the Present is now The Modern-Day Era. Game Shows of the Future is now Things Yet To Come.
The focus and actual content of these forums has not changed, but these new names should cut down on any confusion as to where posts about a certain series should go. In a nutshell, Classics Era is everything from the dawn of television to 1989 inclusive, while the Modern-Day Era covers everything from 1990 to today, and Things Yet To Come is where you'll find news about what's coming down the pipeline soon, including pilot information and casting announcements.
Note that the three current shows that straddle both sides of the 1990 cutoff date -- the CBS Price is Right, the syndicated Wheel of Fortune, and the Alex Trebek version of Jeopardy! -- by default should be discussed in the Modern-Day Era forum. Cullen and pre-Davidson syndie Price, daytime Wheel, and Fleming Jeopardy! are good for the Classics Era.
We hope this makes things a little clearer. Thanks for your cooperation, and continue to enjoy Game Show Paradise!
