He did well, but I miss him terribly already. At least he'll be back for the TOC.

according to some ***es on facebook, he threw that final jeopardy question.
even if he had gotten it right, he still would have been defeated

according to some ***es on facebook, he threw that final jeopardy question. even if he had gotten it right, he still would have been defeated I've heard - and I refuse to believe it (but I'm probably biased). Whatever his reasons, I'm glad to have "met" him and I can't wait to see what he does next.

If you haven't seen Film Theory's two part Video Essay "How One Man BROKE Jeopardy", and "How Jeopardy CHEATED its Best Player" (Subtitled Jeopardy is Rigged, Part 1 and 2, respectively), I highly recommend it. (The video titles are click-bait, obviously. The subject matter of the videos goes much deeper.) It is very relevant to Matt Amodio's experiences on Jeopardy. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CzBvNJeIsU Part 1 www.youtube.com/watch?v=xPWLIPcpIjA Part 2

it looks like the current champ and Matt might meet up again in the toc finals, even if they are seeded fairly unlike in the tourney that James won when he beat the person that beat him in the tourney finals

yes, that's what I'm saying. If the powers that be fairly seeded contestants, James and the contestant that beat him and 1 other would have met in the quarter finals

Don't look now, but we got another possible megachamp brewing...Amy Schneider at 12 days and nearing half a million.

This season's TOC is going to be epic, I think. I remember reading that there were only a handful of episodes so far where the champion didn't have a 5+ day reign?
Also, anyone who makes snide comments about Amy is going straight to a 25% warning and a day's ban.

I myself don't have a problem with her on Jeopardy. I would have a problem if she appeared on a game show like American Gladiators

As most people know by now, Amy Schneider becomes the winnningest woman in J! history on today's episode, winning her 21st game and a grand total of $806,000.

Regarding the current hosting split between Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik, I have noticed that MB is introduced this way, "... And Now, the Host of Jeopardy, Mayim Bialik", while KJ is introduced this way, "...And Now, hosting Jeopardy, Ken Jennings".
