I'm glad that they're trying to take a modern approach to it, but two things are bothering me.
1. The host. I'm not that into his style. I'm not into Cupcake Wars for multiple reasons, and Scrabble Showdown was great and all, but Jesus Christ - anyone could host that show.
2. Why two civilians on each team? Any particular reason?
Off the Wall and Mad Libs were great 90s shows (never really saw Z Games). If they keep things simple, Disney might have a winner on their hands. I might have to watch this, even though their product sucks these days.

I think Disney Channel really has a smart idea by reviving Win Lose Or Draw and hopefully when it debuts I can guarantee the Win Lose Or Draw revival will bring big ratings to Disney Channel and bring a bigger audience to the channel. As many of you recall Disney Channel did a remake of Win Lose Or Draw in the 90's with the name Teen Win Lose Or Draw that starred Skippy of Family Ties and was a major hit for Disney Channel. As for the host of Disney Channel's Win Lose Or Draw revival I believe you're talking about Justin Willman and I've heard of some of his work on game shows and I think he will make a fun fit for the Win Lose Or Draw revival. All and all I think Win Lose Or Draw will earn a big feather in Disney Channel's cap, Kelsey

I am just fearing they'll force Doc Mcstuffins down our throat along with "New" Disney.
Fingers crossed they'll remember Retro Disney.

Fingers crossed they'll remember Retro Disney. ... Because this incarnation of Vault Disney that they have is 100% awful. It's not what I expected it to be. Jonas? Sonny With a Chance? Where the hell are the true classics?

This IS Disney we're talking about. We're lucky if they remember Tale Spin, Chip & Dale or Aladdin.

^Why did you dislike the idea of having each team consist of two persons who are not very famous (I do not like the idea of calling such persons "civilians" in non-military matters)? I know the original program had teams that consisted of two famous persons and one person who was not very famous, but I believe the idea of having only one famous person on each team would be good enough for the new program and give more folks who are not very famous a chance to be contestants.

^Why did you dislike the idea of having each team consist of two persons who are not very famous... I think there are some things that shouldn't be changed in regards to the aspect of the show. Welcome to 2013. I like the technological advances, but I just can't see this show with two civilians and one celebrity. I don't think I need to overly explain this.

you know what's really screwed up folks, I've heard that Jennifer Convy (the daughter of the late Bert Convy) is one of the executive producers on this version of WLOD. So Jennifer, let me get this straight. You, the daughter of the former host of Tattletales, Super Password, 3rd Degree and of course Win, Lose or Draw are going to allow Disney (the drooling Neanderthals that they are) try to butcher your father's work like that for which if he were alive today would not be happy about the decision they've made?
Now I may not have nor will not in the future watched Disney's Win, Lose or Draw or have been a fan of all three incarnations of the franchise as a whole. But admit it folks, Disney has pulled a Fremantle on this franchise and did stupidly drastic changes that did not need to be changed. heck, the original Adult version and it's Teen version (which oddly enough the later have aired on The Disney Channel as well) did not have a "draw-stacle course" in their version even if they did it would've been stupid.
WHY DO CLASSIC GAME SHOW FRANCHISES THAT WE'VE ALL GREW UP AND LOVED FOR ALL OF OUR LIVES HAVE TO INJECT POISON (A.K.A DUMB-DOWN) FOR ALL THE NEW MILLENNIALS WHO HAVE REFUSED TO NOT HAVE SEEN THE ORIGINAL AND ARE FORCED TO ENJOY THIS ABOMINATION INSTEAD OF THE ORIGINAL LIKE WE HAVE IN THE PAST?
and Disney I'm really surprised no I'm shocked that you have to alienate this franchise into a complete anarchy like your other pathetic Disney Channel shows and have the stars look like they should been at a teen party with booze and drugs or in prison for the rest of their lives. heck does M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E mean anything to you? well apparently for you turd for brains it doesn't.
PATHETIC DISNEY PATHETIC!

▲ Nutshell answer: "Times change. Get over it."
In-depth answer:
It's not 1987 anymore, or even 1997. Even 2007 might as well have been a different era now. For today's younger generation, there are simply too many alternative choices for entertainment, from Netflix to XBox to iOS/Android-based games and apps, all of which are a lot more accessible to them than the traditional television model. Probably more entertaining, too, in the long run. In terms of game shows, "Traditional" just doesn't cut it anymore (The Price is Right being discounted as an inexplicable anomaly), especially not after millennials have been raised on a diet of modern-style fare from Millionaire on down through the Deal or No Deals and the Minute to Win Its, just to name a few. You need to grab their attention and hold on to it somehow, and obviously this is the direction the PTB have decided is the best way for them to do it.
For better or worse, this is what sells in today's market. You don't have to like it, but you do have to accept that this is simply the way of the world right now. All you can do is make the best of the situation, or you become that cranky old man in the rocking chair, impotently waving his cane in the air and cursing the fact that things aren't like they used to be. Which is fine if that's the image you want to portray, of course, but I'm gonna guess you're still far too young to be pigeonholed like that.
Bottom line, if this doesn't appeal to you, then you're probably not in the target audience in the first place. And that's perfectly acceptable. But there's not really much point in raging against the machine on it, either. It is what it is.
