My eyes just about bugged out of my head when I heard that announcer. I'll bet that went over well at 30 Rock... then again, he did do the $10,000 Sweep pilot for ABC a few years prior to this, so I guess that wasn't a consideration.
Fans of unsold pilots may recognize the theme tune as being that of King of the Hill, while Whew! fans will certainly note the name "Bud Austin" in the production line. As for the game itself... I don't know. I can't quite put my finger on it, but the main game is just... missing something. I think where it falls apart is the endgame, with the host being the one doing all that phrase-shuffling for the contestant in what is really the prototype for the Wipeout bonus some fifteen years later. (Perhaps that sort of gameplay would have been better served if Take 5 had been a couples game. You could then get some Money Maze-style communication between partners.)

^ I thought the theme music sounded familiar; couldn't place it though.

...I want to say right now that I was mistaken myself. The theme in this clip is not from King of the Hill; my memory betrayed me on that one, which I confirmed when I was just now able to go back and re-watch that pilot in my own archives. I'm not sure where the Take 5 theme is from. If anything, it almost sounds like a significantly jazzed-up version of the theme from Moneywords, a 1974 Mike Darrow pilot that John Ricci once posted some clips from:
