Okay, I'm seeing this as a major problem, and I'm going to help stop this problem.
When people are posting schedules or changes to them, please make sure you pop in your timezone so that people know where you come from. I see people not doing this, and it confuses me as well as others.
ET - Eastern
CT - Central
MT - Mountain
PT - Pacific
And in case anyone lives in Hawaii, I don't know what you call it there. Sorry.
I don't want this to be said again. If anyone has any questions, send them my way - in this thread.

Regardless of what it's called, it's not the point. The point is that you guys need to stop confusing each other with your posts. Not everyone lives in the same part of the country. I think ladykelsey is in PT (and I think she believes that a 9am ET show airs at the same time in PT). Make sure you include which timezone you're in, so that doesn't confuse people. It's confusing me, so I figured this was as good of a time as any to make this thread. |

As an addendum to this thought, sometimes a poster will even specify whether the local time is in Daylight Savings or not. This is usually self-explanatory, but there are times when the distinction becomes useful. So for example, a reference to "EDT" would be "Eastern Daylight Time," while "PST" is not a whisper, it's "Pacific Standard Time." And so on.
Just for the record since it was brought up, the name of HI's zone is officially "Hawai'i-Aleutian Time" (HAT). "HT," "HDT," or "HST" are also acceptable.

I just realized that I had it set up so staff and members could post in threads in this section. This is more for staff only, so I changed it.
