My cousins and I saw the PAX version of Beat The Clock and we thought it was really cool and at first when we saw Beat The Clock on PAX my cousins liked the fun antics of the host Gary Kroeger {Who was the announcer on Whammy The All-New Press Your Luck} and in this version of Beat The Clock a girl named Julielinh {Pronounced Julie-LYNN} Parker played the assistant on this version of Beat The Clock. It's a surprise that this show seems to be the only show which Gary Kroeger has hosted in his resume and Gary Kroeger deserves more chances to host game shows but this version of Beat The Clock is considered one of PAX's funnest game shows produced by Fremantle Media, Kelsey

I really like this version of the show. Nice stunts and I also enjoyed the whirlwind round at the end. This and To Tell The Truth are the only Goodson revivals from the late '90's-early 2000's that I have a desire to re-watch.

Actually, in 1996 Gary Kroeger did host a version of The Newlywed Game that was so off the formula that it was soon replaced with a return to the classic version, with the return of Bob Eubanks.
The very same thing happened to The Dating Game at the same time, except that Chuck Woolery took over as host from WLiiA alum Brad Sherwood.

At first I did not like this show. however, by the time it was in for two months, I fell in love. It was one of the few PAX / Ion TV game shows to give away 5 digits in a single episode.

Beat the Clock is on my list for the games I want to revive.
