Liz is alive and well, and was on Jeopardy! in 2018. Her niece margaretvanderbie4244 said in the comments of Pressmin's video that Pat "passed away at age 82 in 2011, peacefully and gracefully."

The not rare 4/2/1985 PYL episode, coming from a rare source of PYL episodes, a 1987 syndicated rerun, airdate believed to be 8/5/1987(and the updated 7/29/1986 CBS Summer rerun fee plugs), from a Rochester,NY station(Rochester being where the late Dave Zinkin spent his adult life, don't know if he was the original source of this video), at www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmZmUmxcQOU

If that rerun was from the first week of August 1987, then that was from Republic Pictures' 130-episode rerun Syndicated package's second cycle. I've already said before that I think it barely got through its second cycle before USA Network picked up the show, beginning with such package.

I have a copy of that actual 7/29/86 rerun in my collection, but my copy cuts out during the fee plugs. I mention this because I think on Jason Hernandez's old PYL website (which the link to his description of this episode doesn't exist anymore) he mentioned that the closing to this episode lasted longer than the 1987 syndie rerun airing aired. His description was that (I think, I am going by a 15+ year memory of this episode description and this is a paraphrase of what I remember seeing on his site about this ep) after the new fee plugs first there was the whammy art card used for the fee plugs which lasted for 45 seconds (which is intact in the above syndie rerun). But then the theme played for what seemed about a little over another minute or so, followed by a network promo for I think a sitcom rerun. I don't remember if Jason mentioned if Rod's signoff was on there or not. Again this is going by a 15 plus year memory of this.

oldtimetvfan The College Week and Summer 1984 episodes had re-dubbed plugs. The channels that reran those episodes restore the original ones.

I was talking about the 7/29/86 CBS Network rerun itself. That was what I was describing in my post above. I think I have the 4/2/85 episode from said rerun date (7/29/86), but it cuts off during fee plugs if I remember correctly. What I was talking about is that one day hopefully that a complete copy of that episode from the 7/29/86 network rerun airing enters the trading circuit one day so we can know how long the closing lasted. Strangely College week was the only week that didn't have a actual full credit roll.

Wink Martindale's YouTube is posting on Wednesdays and Fridays, and first up is Pilot A of The Parent Game.
It's been said that a Pilot aired as one of the 24 episodes of its only season. This pilot is apparently different one.

And I am now noticing that the beginning is a portion of MacArthur Park by Richard Harris.
