Can anyone identify the airdate of this episode? We know it's a Friday episode, so now, the next step would be to identify which episodes of those Friday NBC shows were being promoted in the credits. The plot of that night's Miami Vice supposedly matches this episode. www.imdb.com/title/tt0647102/

The Name that Tune home contest episodes aired from 11/12-11/30/1984 IIRC, and that commercial was seen on KYW in Philly also. USA would have aired this Scrabble episode in Oct or Nov 1992

You think I'm done with Scrabble? Think again. Next up is the December 20, 1985 episode. I comment on it in the comments.

We do know though that GSN displayed this episode as "AIRED NOV 84" on the bottom left of the screen.

Skipped episodes of Whew! are coming soon to WInk and Co.'s Youtube page. Two or three months of early episodes were skipped over, including Howard Wilson's seven game run, plus a couple of weeks from May 1980 they haven't gotten to at Buzzr.

From my notes these were the Whew episodes not rerun on Buzzr before the celebrity format change, most of them were on the Ceramic Dalmatian channel at one point. Wink didn’t mention yet specifically which episodes would be added:
- April 25, 1979 (skipped by Buzzr but not in circuit) - May 30, 1979 (excerpt) - June 1, 1979 - June 4, 1979 - June 6, 1979 - June 8, 1979 - June 11, 1979 - June 12, 1979 (excerpt) - Episode from c.June 1979, Melissa vs Tony - July 27, 1979 (excerpt) - July 30, 1979 - July 31, 1979 - August 1, 1979 - August 3, 1979 - August 6, 1979 (excerpt) - September 17, 1979 (skipped by Buzzr but not in circuit) - October 10, 1979 (skipped by Buzzr but not in circuit) - October 16, 1979 (skipped by Buzzr not in circuit)
* the May 20-23 and 30, 1980 episodes are still on Youtube at last check. May 29, 1980 used to be on Dailymotion

Pilot for the 1990 version of Tic Tac Dough at www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ8kpFSjDew. As a foreword, I’m fortunate to have seen Wink’s version first (during the 2008 GSN reruns) but some of us here of a certain age had seen Patrick’s version on USA Network first

Among the episodes of Whew! that Buzzr skipped that are coming to Wink's YouTube is episode #003. There should be a clue behind the reason for its skipping.
