Here is a rare find: An international airing of Family Feud in 1984. Unfortunately, it’s partial.

Here is a rare find: An international airing of Family Feud in 1984. Unfortunately, it’s partial. Well it's taped off of the Armed Forces Network in the Philippines as the Far East Network however we also got Jeopardy! With Alex Trebek on AFN in the 1980s.

While GSN has known to air this episode especially during the Dark Period era, although the video description says 1989, turns out it's from March 9, 1992 from the original broadcast.

Second Guess w/Alex Trebek. This Pilot was intended for NBC. Of all the pilots Wink has posted recently I liked this one best. I think Money Words could have been OK too with a few tweaks. I’m guessing NBC went for either Wordplay or Rafferty Blockbusters over this, as those were the next two game shows NBC debuted after this pilot was shot.

Also intended for NBC Daytime in 1986 were Oddball (Mark Goodson), Comedy Court (Chuck Barris), Buzzword (Merv Griffin), and Bogus (Jay Wolpert).

Buzzword used theme music used for cars on WOF in the CBS TV City years and later the theme to Merv Griffin's Crosswords.
