1979-80 to be exact since it had the blue backwall with purple circles. If it had the red backwall with orange circles then it'd be 1978-79.

Buzzword used theme music used for cars on WOF in the CBS TV City years and later the theme to Merv Griffin's Crosswords. I've seen WOF use that cue as early as 1987 when they went to all cash (still taped at NBC).

Stormy Sacks appears to have released some music in the clear from Caesar's Challenge, and JohnRicci89 is using it in their upcoming "flash" game of it. www.youtube.com/c/jricci9/videos

1987-88 season episode of All New Dating Game. Poster says October 1988 but the set seen indicates 1987-88 season. Airdate between 12/9-12/11 or 12/14/1987 as a Tuesday 12/15/1987 Bullets/Celtics game was referenced in a commercial www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-0akwtIPSc

That was how it could be confirmed that seasons 1-5 each had 195 episodes.

That was how it could be confirmed that seasons 1-5 each had 195 episodes. It is, but what's interesting about this season of TTD is that the 1984 Choice Shows began with the All Time Money Winners Tournament (lasted from F-046 to F-051) and not the season premiere. For those that liked to see the 1000th episode again, would have to wait until CBN reruns the episode as it wasn't part of the Choice Shows.

Only reason I could think of that they didn't start the SUmmer 1984 reruns with the season premiere is the 1983-84 season up until the tournament had the short lived Dragon Finders game, which IIRC only lasted the first nine weeks of the 1983-84 season and didn't come back after the tournament ended.

The first minute of an unsold Reg Grundy pilot from 1986 called Late Night Lotto with Michael Burger hosting and Marc Summers announcing at www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNqcVdGzg3o The pilot is believed to be from Grundy as this pilot was mentioned in one of the late 1986-early 1987 issues of TV Game $hoa Magazine and Robert Noah, who worked on Scrabble at the time, was said to be working on said pilot.
