Match Game still airs from 1-2PM EST MOn-Fri on GSN. The next oldest show to that is Whammy, which is 17-18 years old. Lane Chain Reaction is now 13-14 years old. The earliest episodes of Deal or no Deal are almost 15 years old

Careful now, Mr. You Know Who is dissing us on his blog site again because of that comment. Gonna be honest here, my dad has Spectrum and he has GSN. Not sure why Spectrum isn't showing it on your end. Who would that be? I'm just making a flat statement because it used to be classic shows all the time, then 3/4 of the time, then half the time, then 1/4 of the time, now there are NO classics on GSN--just originals and modern shows. So that's why it doesn't bother me at all our provider has it as a "blocked" channel unless we upgrade--no thanks. Mr. You Know Who refers to the guy who blogs at Game Show Follies.

He berated me for questioning why GSN keeps skipping the November 1983-April 1985 and April-October 1987 episodes of The New $25,000 Pyramid, when I think it's a perfectly valid thing to do so. GSN said they have the entire run, but yet they keep skipping those two points of that run.

GSN is not accountable to you, nor any other viewer.

GSN is not accountable to you, nor any other viewer. I had a kind of snarkish response to this, but I'm not going there I mean, you're right though. And why should they be? I mean, they don't need to release a public statement on every show on their schedule, old or new. This is true.

It wouldn't be frustrating me so much, if I didn't come upon a post made by Gregory Pearsoll, in which he said that he heard rumors about the 1984 episodes being missing or damaged beyond repair. Mr. Pearsoll never said where he heard those rumors from.

It's nice to know that GSN will be doing a tribute for Alex, but I must ask. Where was this type of tribute after Regis passed away?

Maybe they couldn't get the rights to air Regis Millionaire for a couple of episodes, but I don't know if GSN even mentioned his passing.

Wonder what 12 episodes will air? Game Show Forum said Classic Concetration, His Card Shark appearance, and To tell the truth, there is a slim chance Double Dare will appear. And just for the new members, BUZZR can't air Jeopardy because they are not own by Sony, they are owned by Fremantle Media. It seems like there is some cross speculation here.
The post above is answering a question about the GSN marathon/tribute (which appears to be exclusively Jeopardy) with a response that is describing the shows from the BUZZR marathon/tribute.

sorry i gorgot this was gsn JohnnyO do you want me to delete my post Probably a better idea for the mods to rename the thread as "BUZZR/GSN tributes for Alex Trebek", or something similar, and break out your post. Not a big deal either way, but I was initially confused, and I just wanted to add some clarity.
