Gang, you may want to check the weekend schedule change as of August 7: 9:00am: Deal or No Deal gets replaced and America Says takes over the hour, America Says goes from 10 to 12 weekend slots 3:00am: Emogenius and Snap Decision are both replaced with more Idiotest. And you'll notice that GSC doesn't have Winsanity anywhere on its schedule except on the Pluto version, which only has 25 episodes to choose from.

welp it looks like cash cab is leaving gsn Chain Reaction airs 2-4PM EST Sat and Sun starting on 8/7. That leaves only Match Game, DOND, and Feud as non-GSN originals on the schedule. Wow, Cash Cab is leaving GSN completely after 4 and a half years on the network, Chain Reaction though is back to the episodes from back when Rich Cronin was in charge of the network and Michael Davies was the showrunner and Dylan wasn't married AND airing episodes in taping order. I'd not be surprised if DoND leaves GSN as well if they don't actually air the 30 minute syndicated version which they air heavily in promos as 1) There is a DOND Pluto TV channel showing the entirety of the original NBC version. 2) GSN either keeps DoND on the schedule as part of its current 3-year lease or replace it with either the first season of Common Knowledge(which BTW is now airing at 10:00am weekdays but hopefully not for long) or replace it with some other Original that haven't seen the light of day since the days of the PDF schedules. So the current GSN version of Chain Reaction is on Saturday afternoons and the version with Michael Davies as the showrunner airs on Sunday afternoons I'm assuming.

Looks like Master Minds replaced Get A Clue in the 9:30AM slot. I'm okay with this change. I wasn't really a big fan of Get A Clue, but I think that means GAC is off the schedule completely now. I could be wrong on that one though.

With everything that's been happening with Mike Richards, I wonder if GSN will take action and pull MR Pyramid and Divided from the schedule. I wouldn't be surprised if it happens.

No, remember, Mike Richards also serves as the showrunner of the current GSN version of Chain Reaction for the upcoming season that was taped a bunch of episodes of already. Starting next week though, Catch 21 is losing the 2pm slot and Family Feud(post-2015) is taking its place. It seems that they want be in a position to yank any pre-2018 Original and any Family Feud (pre-2015) and being left with just 2 acquisitions left in the schedule.

Great! /s Actually, that one loses the 4pm and 4:30pm slots and America Says is getting the 4pm weekday slot. We still have no idea why Common Knowledge isn't on weekends anymore nor on GSC and America Says takes like 60% of the entire schedule, and they're now saying that America Says continues with new episodes til September 24, which counts for another triple-digit no. of episodes in a single season. Kinda wish though if the production code nos. can start appearing in the on-screen guides for every Original.

You wanna hear what's so shameful?
In recent promos, GSN has completely IGNORED the original version of Chain Reaction with Bill Cullen. Instead, they are treating the Dylan Lane version from 2006-2007 as the original. Shameful and embarrassing.

Dylan Lane himself was talked to about the 80s versions of the show, albeit briefly, when interviewed by Adam Wurtzel. One team on the 2006 version mentioned the original CR in their interviews. The USA version from Canada had a run two years longer than Press Your Luck did, some of us remember that run well too.

If anything, I'm surprised that the Mike Catherwood version didn't get any love. He didn't get a fair chance if you ask me.
