Greg Brobeck reported on Game Show Forum that the Kaye Ballard episode airing early morning on 1/1 is from the 1972 IGAS If that's the case, and if it's not the February 1, 1965, and if someone uploads that to YouTube, it will new to be as no one has uploaded that episode yet I do believe. It's also the 13th taped episode that was taped September 21, 1972.

Here's something for the week of January 10, the current GSN run of Chain Reaction is replacing the Common Knowledge 5:30pm slot, and People Puzzler replaces America Says in the 6:30pm slot, I'm guessing both of these slots are just reruns, so that's still 3 time slots with new episodes and it's a possible that People Puzzler has a 130 episode season based on this.

People Puzzler puzzles me that people watch it.

OK, so here's the 8 episode lineup for January 17: 9:00am: $25,000 Pyramid #1013 from August 6, 1986, this one may have the GSN black-screen credits. 9:30am: Could be from #16 from October 11, 1982(both Betty's and Charlie Siebert's Pyramid debuts, final week with the NYC dingbells). 10:00am: Any episode from #186-#190 from the June 6-10, 1983 week and it should be any episode where Betty won both halves of the episode (I been told there were no $25,000 attempts that week) 10:30am: An episode from #286-#290 from the week of October 24-28, 1983(the debut of Ed Begley Jr., final week with the plain Mystery "7" text). 11:00am: An episode from #696-#700 from the week of May 20-24, 1985, a rare week where the $25,000 sign is completely dark. 11:30am: Another episode from the same week. 12:00pm: An episode from the counterpart's comeback week from the week of April 4-8, 1988(#1356-#1360) or an episode from #891-#895 from the week of February 17-21, 1986. 12:30pm: Another episode from the October 24-28, 1983 week. So the guarantee is 6 of the 7 other episodes will if the Mystery 7 bonus prize is won, they'll be shown in full screen before the GSN credit crunch but all of the remaining 7 slots will have real fee plugs shown in the credit crunch, and we're not sure about #1013 since it could be the one that has the black-screen credits. If the 12pm one is from the February 17-21, 1986 week, then the credit crunch begins before the Mystery 7 bonus prize is shown.

9:30am: Could be from #16 from October 11, 1982(both Betty's and Charlie Siebert's Pyramid debuts, final week with the NYC dingbells). Would seem to be the popular choice. October 14 (#19) has quite a moment with a category that just goes off the rails, but that wouldn't work as 1) It's at Betty's expense, 2) Charlie wins both halves that day. 10:00am: Any episode from #186-#190 from the June 6-10, 1983 week and it should be any episode where Betty won both halves of the episode (I been told there were no $25,000 attempts that week) Which means June 6 is out, as instead Soupy Sales won both that day. 11:00am: An episode from #696-#700 from the week of May 20-24, 1985, a rare week where the $25,000 sign is completely dark. Hmmm. May 22 has a funny moment where Betty gets in a good-natured jab when Dick forgets whose turn it's supposed to be in a front game. And if 11:00 and 11:30 are both from the same week then those two may be consecutive, as May 22-23 had the same two contestants (so, obviously, May 22 ended in a tie). 12:00pm: An episode from the counterpart's comeback week from the week of April 4-8, 1988(#1356-#1360) or an episode from #891-#895 from the week of February 17-21, 1986. April 4, 1988 would be a very good choice for this. But if it's the 1986 week then it would almost certainly be February 18. (But 88 would be an even better pick than that, if you get my drift.)

Don't tell me April-October 1987 is damaged beyond repair. Betty and Bill Cullen (in his final TV appearance) played during that time.

If GameTV ever gets to air "The $25,000 Pyramid" in the future and they air episodes from the periods of November 1983 to May 1985, and April to October 1987, that claim will be proven false.

IF the two from May 1985 turn out to be May 22-23, the Mystery 7 was not won on the 23rd (actually, that category cost that contestant the 2nd game). So that's one less. But it was on the 22nd, and on 10/11/82 and 4/4/88. (Those are all I know for sure.)

Buzzerblog says 25 Words or Less reruns are coming to GSN starting on 4/11 from 3-4PM EST. It is not known which of the three seasons they will be airing, but probably the first or second season, and GSN's online schedule confirms it. The Chase will not be on the schedule after 4/8.
