In the TV guide for the episode on Monday it says the celebrities are Alfonso Ribeiro vs Mario Batali for the first half. Kathy Najimy’s episode is seen on Friday. Contestant on the 7/31/1985 episode of $25,000 Pyramid

Posting this here as it doesn't get as much activity.
I don't watch GSN much anymore, but I just noticed that the Match Game hour at 1pm is exactly in sync with the noon hour on BUZZR, both showed the same episodes, 606 and 607 today. Presumably been like this the entire week, or even longer, depending on skips.
Crazy.

These very episodes that you mentioned were from November 1975, as per Match Game episode guide on Game Shows Wiki. I remember GSN acquiring 1975 episodes at least two years ago, and previously they reran the majority of 1977, early 1978, and early 1974 to death from 2016 to around 2020 - four years. They aired too many cycles, I couldn't even count them. I am guessing they acquired the rest of 1974 and 1975 episodes by late 2020, and considering GSN aired late 1975 last week, does GSN presently have the rights to any 1976 episodes too?
Although I am not a fan of Match Game, I really miss the classics on GSN. I sure hope they bring them back, at least those from the 1980s, but considering GSN airs less programming (most of which are originals) than they did about a decade ago, I have strong doubts at this point. At least I have GameTV for my classics fix.

Living in Central time, the GSN Match Game episodes are at noon for me. And with working from home for 18 months starting March 2020, I got to watch whole years of Match Game which I had never had before as that became my normal lunch time show.
In 2020, they rotated between 1974 and 1977, then when 1974 finished they showed all of 1975 and then 1976 almost to the end of the year. I really hoped they'd then go to 1977 and start from January, but didn't, they went back to 74 and are currently in 75 again. I guess I'll see if they go to 76. I have a soft spot for 76 as I remember watching it as a kid, but would like to see other seasons like 77.

9-10PM EST Harvey Feud will be replaced by $100K Pyramid ABC on 10/3, and Common Knowledge, Winsanity, and Divided will on early AM 10/4 from 2:30-4AM EST be replaced by a triple run of Harvey Feud.

Well, all 3 of the Originals can be seen on Game Show Central and yet, with Common Knowledge, GSC only airs the first season episodes. As for Steve Harvey Feud in those 2:30am-4am slots, I hope the episodes are from the time where the Face-Off lectern is present during Fast Money(also the middle part now has an added screen) and the audience isn't seen at all during Fast Money. And even with GSN using their hard drive for storage, they continue to skip episodes they've aired many years before(especially during the era where they released PDF schedules weeks in advance).

In addition, Idiotest leaves the GSN lineup completely too, People Puzzler takes over the 1am-2am slots and even more Steve Harvey Feud takes over what's currently Idiotest and now that's *4* GSN Originals leaving the schedule after Sunday, although we see all of them on Game Show Central, except GSC isn't even airing the Idiotest episodes from its 4th season. Also, the 2012-13 season(all 2012-taped) of the Feud is really gone as well, America Says is back to first run episodes BUT it's NOT a fresh new season, just being reminded of that.

Wow, that means that both Common Knowledge and Idiotest in the GSN On-Demand app could be completely leaving the On-Demand service after October or could be in the same situation as Baggage by staying in the On-Demand after October.

It wasn't recently, the "Nude" episode of Idiotest Season 3 has always been skipped in every subsequent rotation and is also skipped by GSC as well. |

Any clue what's going on with GSN's program guide? Its listings are only valid through end of broadcast day on October 30; they haven't updated it since then. I've tried reaching out to them via Facebook but got no reply.

according to my philo guide the chase will be returning to gsn starting november 14th at 5 pm est replacing chain reaction
