Interestingly enough, The Chase is airing on Sunday evenings on GameTV. But based on the banner, it doesn't appear to be the Brooke Burns version. The schedule displays it as being from Season 14, so could it be the UK version? I cannot see this series having this many seasons on US network television at this point (I did learn that a major broadcast network was considering such show for primetime).

Our adaptation of The Chase lasted for 4 seasons but a total of 51 episodes but it's sad that gameshownewsnet only recapped 4 episodes of the GSN version, there should've been a lot more recaps there. This is the second time The Chase taking the time slots of Chain Reaction. To break down, here are the episode total per season Season 1: 8 episodes Season 2: 9 episodes but the first-taped episode was placed here Season 3: 14 episodes, including Wink Martindale's cameo, that Netflix didn't include. Season 4: 20 episodes

It's too early right now, but if GSN does their annual B&W overnight this Christmas, chances are it will include Angela Lansbury on WML, and Peter Gabel, Arlene Francis' son, on WML. Both have passed away. Peter died early this week from amyloidosis at 75.
They could use that opportunity to show Peter as a panelist on the Syndicated run, but somehow, I wouldn't hold my breath on that.

Who was the moderator when Peter Gabel was the panelist on the color What's My Line? Anyhow, with the rate the episodes are going, on the weekend of November 12-13, Cash Cab goes back to the very first episodes where each of first 2 level amounts had 5 questions instead of the usual 4, and Chain Reaction has this order: #1001, #1003, #1005 and #1007, all from 2006.

Was mentioned in the Buzzr schedule thread, but really belongs here: On November 28, GSN swaps out Match Game and the afternoon airings of America Says in favor of a new retro block:
1 pm - Press Your Luck 1:30 pm - Super Password 2 pm - Card Sharks (Perry) 2:30 pm - Family Feud (Dawson)
Definitely an interesting change, as I was thinking at this point that Match Game would be the last Goodson classic to air on GSN. Admittedly I would have preferred to see shows from the Sony library over ones that are already on Buzzr, but still can't complain about more exposure for the classics. And for Dawson fans, it's a chance to watch him during daylight hours. Between this block, $100K Pyramid, and The Chase, I'd have some reasons to tune in if I actually got GSN. America Says, Tug of Words and the current Chain Reaction are solid originals too.

As for the original Feud at 2:30pm, I hope it's from 1984 and/or 1985 AND from the ABC Daytime counterpart as there are several holes to fill from those 2 calendar years.

Of this new 2-hour block coming up, the original Feud is the only one that left the schedule prior to the launch of the SOTC reruns on GSN, and prior to the launch of Buzzr as well, though it did appear once on Saturday Night Classics event GSN had. One other thing, The Chase is on Saturday afternoons replacing Cash Cab(which just went back to the very beginning of the Discovery Channel run), but Cash Cab will continue to air on Sunday afternoons. Is it official that the 2012-13(2012-taped) episodes of the Feud is now gone from the GSN lineup? Notice that the 10pm slots are now into the episodes where the Face-Off lectern stays put during Fast Money and the audience isn't seen at all during Fast Money(our adaptation still has these elements today but not the Canadian version).

Looking at the schedule data on GSN's website for 11/28 and 11/29, they don't list the classic shows in the 1-3PM block. The schedule shows noon and then the next show at 3PM.
I have an extractor built for the GSN schedule so hopefully they start listing those episodes soon.

Just found out from snowpeck that these changes may be for Holiday purposes only, as well (again, may be) as Holiday-themed.

Just found out from snowpeck that these changes may be for Holiday purposes only, as well (again, may be) as Holiday-themed. I found out which episodes will be shown for the week of November 28 (possibly the only week these shows will air) for the four shows: M-F 1:00PM: Press Your Luck #84_0324-0326 (M-W) (Christmas 1984 week w/5-game champ Randy, December 20-21 & 24, 1984) & #85_0587-0588 (Th-F) (December 25-26, 1985 w/Peter Tomarken dressed for Christmas morning) 1:30PM: Super Password #84_0066-0070 (Christmas 1984 week w/Shelley Smith & Jamie Farr, December 24-28, 1984) 2:00PM: Card Sharks #78_0166-0170 (December 12-15 & 18, 1978 w/first shows w/Christmas decorations) 2:30PM: Family Feud (Christmas 1978 week w/Robbins & Brown families, December 19-22 & 25, 1978)

Those 1984 Christmas episodes of PYL were from the 170 (June 1984-February 1985) GSN leased in 2016. Guess it didn't expire. The May 1987-January 1988 Eubanks Card Sharks episodes that GSN leased that same year consisted of 170, too.
