I'll be recording the classic Feud's, I miss Dawson, even Combs, but Dawson was my favorite.
$ale of the Century marathon? Cool. I recorded it once, wasn't "in love" with it, but if I'm up, I'll catch more episodes.

I'm not really a big fan of STYD anymore but I'm happy for the fans; and I'm glad that GSN's acquiring something different and not seen in a while for the schedule.
So glad to hear they're switching $ale episodes, I'm glad the show's obviously doing well for them. I was wondering when they'd bring Blockbusters back. If only I had GSN right now.

And as much as I enjoy her elsewhere, I wasn't a fan of Carrie Ann Inaba's hosting there. I think Bruno might have said this about her Game Show Hosting style: "It was a little like Kung Fu Panda dancing the Samba in the Planet of the Apes" I don't know what happened. And I've seen her on other shows. She's so great and full of personality on Dancing with the Stars. She was so stiff and robotic on 1 vs. 100. Such a disappointment. I was looking forward to her hosting it too.

Shop Til You Drop is finally gonna be shown on GSN? That's amazing because if Shop Til You Drop is added to the GSN family now maybe GSN will add Supermarket Sweep soon to the lineup too. Mom and I used to see Shop Til You Drop sometimes but we loved Supermarket Sweep even more but when we would watch Shop Til You Drop sometimes we would sometimes act it out in our own shopping mall when Dad would go to work and Mom and I would pretend to be a team and we would shop til we dropped like the name said. I'm very glad that GSN is bringing something different and exciting to watch. Guess GSN heard the wish of a certain poster named Kelsey because like the classic movie Field Of Dreams says "If You Build It They Will Come", Kelsey

As mentioned, the Syndicated version is replacing the 1988-1989 shows on Weekdays. Anyone who hates the Big Money Game should watch the Syndie ones.

I have always liked the Big Money Game and never understood the hatred toward it.

Oh, sweet. The 12/9 week has STYD on for an hour at noon? (EDIT: Just saw that it was already said. I'm just trying to make sure I have my facts straight. Apologize.) I'm definitely going to watch before I haul ass to school. Dear God, I think I'm in heaven.

9am ET: Blockbusters (Cullen) replaces Super Password - starting from ep 312 I am guessing that GSN will have the rights to the final 60 episodes of the Cullen run of Blockbusters, seeing it would be quite awkward to revert back to #312 while midway through John Hattan's run, which continues into the series' final week. Maybe this is a sign that we may see a 60-episode run of the Rafferty version someday (the final 60 episodes, my best guess).

I'll now share my thoughts:
Well, Shop Til You Drop seems like an interesting move. I think the show's OK. I prefer it over Supermarket Sweep by far. I'll probably watch.
Syndie Sale....AWESOME! The earlier shows are so much better. I wonder how many big winners we get to see?
Blockbusters I can definitely live with. Bill Cullen's version is a definite favorite. It was a weekend staple for several years. Looking forward to this. Looks like the last 60 or so episodes of the run. 2 episodes of Super Password was a little much.

I have always liked the Big Money Game and never understood the hatred toward it. I don't totally hate it, but it could've been better thought out.

I have always liked the Big Money Game and never understood the hatred toward it. I don't totally hate it, but it could've been better thought out. For me, it just didn't fit $ale's main focus at all; it was more meant for one of Bob Stewart's many series. Plus, it was simply very difficult to win. One mistake and you were done. Imo, a goal of four in 30 seconds would have been more helpful, while keeping the same caveat of two mistakes = loss.

Casey just got the December 16-22 schedules. Looks like we get our annual Black & White Shows again this year. They will air at 3:00am this year in place of the 2nd hour of Baggage.

Isn't Blockbusters that show where contestants have to choose a box with the celebrity giving a question and if the contestant gave the correct answer they won the box and earned points as well for correct answers? Because I've read about Blockbusters when I got the GSN Best Of Classic Quiz And Game Show Themes CD for my birthday and in that CD the Blockbusters theme song can be found there, Kelsey
