PDF schedules are updated through the first full week of July. More Famity Feud, apparently.
BUT...
It's the Richard Karn version, which will be back-to-back episodes from the 2003-2004 season, following the Lingo hour. At ten airings per week, if I am not mistaken, this could be the most airings of Karn's Feud in quite a.long time. I have a feeling GSN still has the rights to at least the 2003-2004 season.

So they're actually replacing an hour of Harvey with an hour of Karn? Did not see that coming. Not a huge fan of Karn's hosting, but his version hasn't gotten regular airplay in a while, and I definitely don't mind the Harvey cutback. I guess we'll see how this affects the ratings.

Not to mention, less sex jokes and questions begging for a genital answer. I just wish GSN would give shows like Friend Or Foe, Russian Roulette, and - wait for it - Supermarket Sweep some time to shine instead of more time slots for Family Feud.

I do remember genital answers as far back as LA's version.
The Q:
We surveyed 100 married women: Name something that's of more concern to your husband than it ever will be to you.
Among the unpicked answers: Size of privates.
FWIW, a recent repeat of JO'H's FF had a slong term for women's breasts among the answers for "We asked women: What was the last thing you put in your bra?", so it's not a SH exclusive (unlike the completely unnecessary "Grandma/Grandpa" questions as of late).

More unfortunate news if you like Winsanity: GSN will cut new runs of Winsanity from two to one each on Thursday nights effective August 18th. The 9:30pm ET new run of Winsanity has been cut and replaced by Family Feud. Winsanity will only have one solo new run Thursday at 9pm ET.

Is it wrong for me to hope that the final three months of Press Your Luck will start airing on GSN on October 3? After all, The $25,000 Pyramid came out with a brand new lease last June, replacing the May 2014-2016 lease, which had about the same number of cycles.
Let's do the math:
Four years ago, PYL returned to GSN in October with episodes #001-#050. In April 2013, after two cycles, they then leased for episodes #052-#111, skipping over two of them. On September 29, 2014, after about six cycles, they leased for episodes #561-#696, skipping over #665-#667 and #679-#681.
Come the first week of September, they will have completed the fourth cycle.

I do remember genital answers as far back as LA's version. I know this is from about a month ago, but was there forced penis/breast/vagina jokes left and right in the older modern-day versions? If you think there was a consistent train of those, you're heavily mistaken.

I am 90% sure the current lease to Press Your Luck expires this Fall, likely around the date you said (late September/early October). As for what GSN will do with the 9:30am timeslot, who knows. I would think a new Press Your Luck lease if we are lucky

I think usually, whenever a refreshing of Fremantle classics occur on GSN, we usually get fresh episodes of some of the already existing shows, and a fresh lease of at least one show not aired in at least two or three years. The only show that comes to mind that fits the latter category is classic Family Feud. Given that the last regulatly-aired Dawson version in 2013 had the final segment replaced with a black screen, I bet if a fresh lease of classic Feud occurs, it will likely be from the Ray Combs version, since that hadn't aired in over half a decade. It's not certain if it would be syndicated or CBS episodes (though the latter hasn't aired regularly since early-2004).
Ratings for Combs' Feud may have been dull in the latter years of airing syndicated episodes, but maybe it was only because the audience was not that old yet at the time. i believe many shows from 1986 (Card Sharks, Super Password, Press Your Luck, to name three) did really well in recent years, so i think the generation who enjoyed game shows from 1988-89 may be ready for Combs' Feud in this day and age.

While the PDF schedules for the last week of September is not published yet, I can confirm, according to Zap2it, that the morning lineup remains status quo that week. I'm thinking the same week the 2014-15 season of Harvey's Feud launches on GSN will likely be the week we may get fresh classics.
