I thought Casey Abell said in a recent blog post that there will be B&W overnight this year, no? Actually, I haven't been checking Casey's blog as frequently since he stopped posting the tentative schedules. But maybe he has some inside information or something. Either way, I'm taking it as a rumor for now.

It seems as if the only time additional Family Feud is welcome to GSN by a lot of users, it has to be hosted by Richard Dawson or Ray Combs. Speak for yourself. I'd gladly welcome a return of Karn or O'Hurley Feud.

From Game Show Follies: Oldies fans will like the 1:00 AM-4:00 AM weekday schedule for December 18-22. It's Match Game, Card Sharks, What's My Line and I've Got a Secret.
Well, I'm hooked! Hoping they'll air some Perry episodes.
Hopes shot down: They'll be Eubanks episodes in latenight according to Casey. As much as it bothers me that they've completely dumped the Perry version, I think I understand why they're keeping the Eubanks version, just because he's a more known host. Speculation on my part.
However What's My Line? will run some syndie episodes in the mix as well as some Black and White ones. I've Got A Secret features both Garry Moore and Steve Allen.

The reason why it will be Bob Eubanks episodes is because GSN no longer has the rights to air the Perry episodes at this time. I'll be recording them in case they're the 1987 Christmas-decorated Young People's Week episodes.

I'm wondering if MG and CS could be permanent in the overnight hours. Guess we'll find out soon enough.
Always cool to see syndie WML get some airtime.

The reason why it will be Bob Eubanks episodes is because GSN no longer has the rights to air the Perry episodes at this time. Is that an actual fact, or is this a case of “I think that’s what happened so I’ll report it as a fact.” it it seems to me if GSN is still airing these current episodes of Match Game and Eubanks Card Sharks, then they would still have the rights to the Jim Perry episodes, and the 1984-1985 episodes of Press Your Luck for that matter, considering they were all leased at the same time (September 2016). Not to mention if you go to the shows tab on GSN.com, they still have Press Your Luck on there as well as a bio for Jim Perry under the Card Sharks section. From the sounds of it, this sounds temporary. Oh and on the GSN schedule, it looks like these overnight episodes will be from 1978.

From Game Show Follies as posted by Casey. Here are the episodes of What's My Line? and I've Got A Secret for the week of the 18th-22nd
Dec 18 WML Bruner 134-2 IGAS Allen 26
Dec 19 WML Blyden 227-3 IGAS Moore Date: 12/16/63
Dec 20 WML Bruner 056-2 IGAS Allen Date: 11/8/65
Dec 21 WML Daly Date: 8/27/67 IGAS Moore Date: 2/19/62
Dec 22 WML Daly Date: 8/29/54 IGAS Moore Date: 2/4/63
Looks like a good group of episodes. I'll be sure to watch and record.
One question. Is that episode of I've Got A Secret a 1972-1973 episode based off of its listing? The GSN online schedule lists Vincent Price, but no panel. Just curious.

Looks like they're starting in the middle of the 1978 week with Tom Dreesen and are going forward from there.

Just checked ScreenerTV... Regarding Card Sharks, it turns out that they'll start airing the 1987 Christmas-decorated episodes on Tuesday, December 19, at 9:30 a.m. ET. However, unless it's an error on GSN's part, it appears that December 21, 1987 will be skipped for some reason, but Jared Oswald did have the episode on YouTube until he took it down on his own terms early in June 2015. I do know about the episode, and in case the episode does air... Sunny did play the Money Cards, and did win the holiday gift package. I did download the episode, but it's on an external hard drive that supposedly gave out last May. The 9:00 a.m. airing to accompany the December 22, 1987 episode will be a regular episode from December 9, 1987. I'll definitely have my DVD recorder all fired up for these episodes, as this may be the only chance I will get to record them. Also, the late night run of Card Sharks starts off just before the Christmas episodes, jumping into 1988. Given the likelihood that the Christmas-decorated Card Sharks episodes will likely wrap up on Friday, December 22, it could imply there may be a holiday marathon looming on Christmas Day.

So, GSN airs Divided at midnight each weeknight. This continues into the week of the 18th as well, but on Wednesday night the 20th, there's a "Ridiculous Cash Bash!" (new) in the listing for 9pm and midnight. Any idea what that is?

Ridiculous Cash Bash is a one-off game show sponsored by Kmart. Everyone who attended the taping got a $500 gift card to the ever dwindling Kmart. People who submitted videos the producers liked will appear as in studio contestants to win prizes and Kmart gift cards.

Heads up. On December 22nd, the 1:00pm hour of Match Game will be #1123-#1124, which are Christmas shows. The 8:00am hour, and the temporary 1:00am (that's 3 hours of Match Game, holy blank) are 78 shows.
And according to Zap2it, they'll be airing what looks like Seasonal shows from 1987 on the morning rotation of Card Sharks.
There's a lot to look forward to this Christmas.
