Keep in mind that Perry's Card Sharks airs later in the night. This is the same time slot that Let's Make a Deal fell victim to on January 13. I see a familiar pattern.
Match Game and Press Your Luck are likely here to stay for a while, as they are cult classics.
Perry's Card Sharks seems to always struggle in the ratings every time it is on GSN's schedule, yet the Bob Eubanks version - which has ten airings per week - is pretty solid. Just goes to show how better the show is since the car game was launched.

I don't like reading all the negative comments on GSN's playing oldies but goodies. Anytime GSN plays an old game show we should be celebrating, even if it is something they've shown before. It beats the heck out of that lousy Harvey Feud obsession GSN has had for years. Now if GSN really wanted to create some excitement with my favorite the Eubanks Card Sharks why don't they play the one's they still have not shown? They just show the same set over and over, I'm sure there were more made and still need to be shown.
And for real excitement on a Saturday play the color To Tell The Truth's w/Bud Collyer, Truth Or Consequences!!!, color '60's Passwords w/A. Ludden. Lots of goodies they could play without having to show the same ol same ol, a little thought given to classic game shows they HAVEN'T shown is all that's needed for a hap hap happy Saturday. Why do they limit themselves to the same handful of shows they've shown already? That's a rhetorical question, not in the mood to hear, "too expensive" if they're a real TV channel they'll have to spend a little, and I don't mean on Harvey's salary, put that loot toward Truth Or Consequences, I'll be forever grateful.

Hasn't always been that way. Earlier in the decade (2010-2013) it was the exact opposite. Eubanks was either in poor slots or not on the schedule while Perry was doing decent in the ratings. Not sure why the tides have changed. But I know why you'd make that statement.
I just think the whole Saturday night block is doing poor in ratings. Which is a shame, considering they do promote this block.
Plus, I'm not sure how long those replacements are going to last. I mean they've only leased 3 color What's My Line episodes and 1 color I've Got A Secret (unless they delve into the Black & White material, which I don't see them doing). It's hard to say what's going to happen. Who knows, maybe Perry will return the week after (okay, I doubt that, but anything is possible, considering this block even exists).
I say screw the whole Saturday night block. Move it to weekday latenights or weekend mornings. I'm not sure who stays up to watch Baggage.

Sad to say TV's Funniest Game Show Moments #2 has been replaced by Cover Story the PYL scandal for tonight Ugh, four major game show disappointments this year so far: 1) Buzzr listing episodes 205-208 of Press Your Luck for February 5-8, and I don't even know if it's just an error, or if they really are showing those four again. 2) That game show moments special being pulled at the last minute. 3) Buzzr picking up Temptation. 4) Jim Perry's Card Sharks being pulled from GSN.

When was the last time a syndicated version of WML aired on GSN that wasn't part of a tribute or other marathon (like the baseball marathon). Got to be before the 3/15/04 changeover

Got to be before the 3/15/04 changeover Would Breakfast with the Stars from 2002 count? Otherwise I believe Blyden-era episodes were on the regular schedule in 2000-01, around the same time as Garry Moore's To Tell the Truth the last time it appeared regularly on the schedule.

I remember being kinda bummed because GSN had only just started airing episodes from the final blue set era... a shame!! Really like that set and era where the show just kinda moves like a well-oiled machine.
