I guess not, but I would much rather see the Regis version of WWTBAM in the 3pm hour. Chris Harrison sorta gets on my nerves, and the contestants seem a lot dumber nowadays

If all else fails, why not put Regis' version in the Saturday Night Classic Block?
To be honest, I don't see them rerunning it again. It's been off the schedule for years. Once upon a time, it was a major hit for the network. Then it faded away. Sad really, such a good show (although some may disagree).

yeah the Regis hasn't aired in a while and it would be nice to see a top prize win

Seriously? Why don’t they just make it the Steve Harvey network already and stop changing shoes to accommodate the show. If Millionaire was getting acceptable ratings, the change wouldn't have been made. Steve's a proven winner in that slot, so the network figures why not use him more? Like it or not, that's simply the way it is. Plus, if you (or anyone else) is worried about Millionaire, it still airs at 3:00pm.

Did GSN stop speeding up Dawson Feud?
I remember since the mid-2000's, they would speed up the ABC edition (an ABC episode is playing on my TV right now), but never the weekly (later bi-weekly and eventually daily) Syndicated edition.

It doesn't seem like it. Then it again it's always seemed like everytime they've ran a show from 1978 or earlier, it's not sped up.
My guess though is my claim is wrong.

A little known fact is that it was supposed to be a straddled show originally. In some way earlier episodes, you can see Richard introduce the next family at the end of the show.
Not to mention I think there was an instance where they did the Fast Money first at the start.

I've noticed a good amount of tape flickering with these two Dawson Feud episodes. The tapes have not aged well it seems.

This wasn't the usual camera and technical people on staff for these taped episodes. There was some sort of strike going on during these 1977 episodes. Can someone confirm this tidbit if possible?
The tapes are in the same condition they were when they placed these episodes for Feast of Favorites in 2002 and on.

They had an on-screen ad saying "One game show's great stars hosts a night of great shows. TV's legendary John Davidson hosts Saturday Night Classics."
This should be interesting. He's destroyed everything else he's hosted.
Also with the on-screen ads, Cover Story returns in March.
