I'm pretty sure it did (WCBS), I just rarely watched the show back then. WCAU Philly and WCBS aired PYL on 9/26/1986, replacing it with Strike it Rich on 9/29/1986. WCAU aired PYL on a one day delay, so the final show may or may not have aired on 9/26/1986, could have been the 9/25/1986 episode. WTRF in Wheeling WV aired PYL at 5PM through at least 9/5/1986. They replaced PYL with Million Dollar Chance of a Lifetime IIRC.

On a recent trip to my old childhood home, I came up with a whole bunch of notes I used to take on various 80's game shows, including Card Sharks (Bob Eubanks, Bill Rafferty), $25,000/$100,000 Pyramid (Dick Clark), Classic Concentration, Hollywood Squares (John Davidson), and Wheel of Fortune (daytime Bob Goen, nighttime 1989-1991). If anyone is interested, I can share this information to complete online episode guides, etc. yes please, can you pm me those please and do you also have any non game show stuff to share as well?

Does anyone know the dates for the Young People's Week during the Jim Perry run?

The original Card Sharks had at least five Young People's Weeks, beginning in Christmas 1979. Here's all the ones I could find.
December 21; 24; 26-28, 1979 July 28-August 01, 1980 August 25-29, 1980 December 22-26, 1980 December 29-31, 1980; January 02, 1981

Here's the last one of this version: April 15-17; 20-21, 1981, but GSN only reran the first and final episodes of the April 1981 week.

The week after, they added another new wrinkle where a player can now earn a $500 bonus for running the board without freezing at any point(the exception being the tiebreaker game), this time period went through several guest announcers as well, Johnny Olson, Jack Narz, and Jay Stewart filled in during this period.

I thought that rule was introduced on October 20, 1980, or is that in regards to special weeks?

October 20, 1980 was when they added the $500 bonus for hitting the answer right on the nose and in the Money Cards where especially if the 2 and/or Ace shows up, the display amount stays the same when another 2 or Ace shows up. The $500 for running the board without freezing was introduced the week after the last fresh Kids Week ended. (was introduced on April 29, 1981 to be exact).

Regarding the October 1986 episodes of Eubanks' Card Sharks, I do have one question to ask. Did Bob make any mention of the upcoming car game during the week of October 20-24, 1986, or was the introduction of the car game a surprise add-in on October 27, 1986 and viewers didn't know in advance it was coming?
Of course, the November sweeps period typically begins on the last Monday of October. And the range board car game was launched on July 4, 1988 - that was during the July sweeps period.
