What is this? A week and a half in and I'm pretty sure this LMAD has already aired once.

"Just hope that it can and will rub GSN to the ground. Keep in mind they are new. So give them a chance." GSN remained definitely unrubbed to the ground during Buzzr's first week. From my blog... TV Newser reports that GSN enjoyed a fine week for June 1-7. 410K/331K/425K viewer averages prime time/total day/extended prime time. The network ranked 37th, 27th and 34th in the windows. The total day rank is exceptionally high for GSN. So much for the predictions (or hopes) that Buzzr would hurt GSN's ratings.A couple more comments: with a schedule that averages 900 years old (slight exaggeration) Buzzr is no threat to GSN. In fact, with its current schedule the subchannel will have trouble even getting carriage on over-the-air stations...not to mention cable, where most people watch TV nowadays. But if Buzzr starts trotting out recent The Price is Right, Let's Make a Deal, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, etc. - I realize the last two are Sony productions, not Fremantle - then it suddenly becomes a very real competitor to GSN. We'll see what happens.

I made a thread so people can debate about GSN and Buzzr. Take it here.

Keep in mind Buzzr has been on the air for two weeks about. Just give it time. They are new though.

Keep in mind Buzzr has been on the air for two weeks about. Just give it time. They are new though. And they're only available to a small portion of households, a number which is even lesser given the means needed to pick it up.

Based on this morning's Tattletales 7 am episodes (#11 and #12) being shown again, it looks to be the same setup as last weekend.
Tonight's Buzzr Time Machine block is TTTT/WML/IGaS. Based on the TitanTV scheduling of these shows running 40 minutes long (show plus show's original sponsor plugs and commercials plus regular commercial breaks) like they do in the overnight hours, it'll be the black and white versions. As for which episodes, I'm not sure. The guide doesn't specify or give dates. It does say "Steve Allen hosts..." for IGaS but it also says under the description "Steve Allen (host), Garry Moore (host)" so that doesn't really say much of anything.
I can't help but notice the promo that Buzzr uses for this block. One clip featured is from an original commercial from one of the b/w shows (so it was a given that they'd use them here at some point), another featues a clip of Soupy Sales riding a bicycle on syndie WML, and another features Rip Taylor taking off his toupee on Super Password. So I gather that they're going to eventually use this as a means to run stuff either not normally seen on the schedule or run future episodes not shown yet by Buzzr of shows already on their schedule.
Personally, I'd use the weekends as a time to run the syndie panel shows and some other versions of shows already shown (i.e. either Password or Password Plus). I know I read an article about original programming and doing stuff like showing more than one version of Feud so from that, I gather the repeating will wane somewhat in the future. Hopefully it will.

Was catching up on Body Language last night. The ticket plug was left in on the Friday episode of the week with Vicki Lawrence and Ed Nelson; and Johnny Olson appeared on camera in the announcer booth! Has BuzzrTV made it to Washington yet?, Kelsey Don't know if you mean DC or Washington State. If you mean, DC, it's on channel 5.2. Nothing in the state of Washington yet.

I decided to launch a secondary channel, BUZZRPlus+, dedicated to full-length games. Two episodes up now, firstly, What's My Line? and Card Sharks, with more to come. The only thing removed from these videos are the per-inquiry/direct response advertisements. These shows include every element of the show aired, such as credit rolls, ticket and fee plugs, and original show sponsored advertisements. I've also left in the BUZZR Network promos and bumpers so you can see those as well. Hope you enjoy! Body Language, PYL, Match Game, and Child's Play are next on the queue.
