My thought is that some episodes were shown as part of the "Time Machine", and thus, got skipped during the normal rotation. Putting some episodes on a disc now. I just started episode #29 which aired today in the regular rotation. Also, I sampled the 1:30 PM airing that also aired today for a second and it was #30. So nothing has been skipped in the weekday rotation. I noticed #28 has a weird little slip up. You can hear the tape of the Whammy rewind a couple seconds after Kim hits her first one.

Wildjackmonroe mentioned that Tattletales was a repeat yesterday in that show's thread... well, apparently they've reverted everything besides Super Password, Press Your Luck, and Child's Play back to where it started on launch day. I would think that limited leases wouldn't apply since Fremantle owns all of these shows, and they've talked about having a 40,000 episode library, but what do I know? Maybe they're still in the process of converting tapes? Or did they press the reset button because they're adding new affiliates?

I love this channel but stuff repeats enough as it is. The new affiliate suggestion might be it and I did read a couple newer stations are getting it. It's very out of the blue though still, especially when you figure that with the exceptions of Tattletales, Press Your Luck, Super Password, Card Sharks, and Let's Make a Deal (they clearly started with the literal earliest point of existing material in their library), they didn't start these shows from the beginning so I don't get the reasoning honestly.

People may not know this (hell, even I didn't know this), but when GSN first started in 1994, they only had a scattered few episodes converted for their reruns. Eventually within the next few years, virtually their whole library had been converted.

I just got home and I see they've started Super Password over as well. Yikes.

I'd figure if it was done once it doesn't have to be done again. Even if some of these shows have had to have mothballs cleaned off to do now I'd think PYL, Password, LMAD, and Match Game to name 4 wouldn't be a problem since theyve been aired in the range of semi recent years to currently doing so on GSN.

It looks like Password Plus will be the first show to air on BUZZR that's not a part of the regular schedule. One episode of Password Plus will air during Saturday July 7th's BUZZR Time Machine block at 10:30 PM and 1:30 AM. This as seen from Titan TV's listings. They note that Allen Ludden hosted this show, so it looks to be on the earlier run of P+. For the record, the other games scheduled that night are Body Language, Match Game, PYL, Card Sharks (Perry), and Super Password, in that order. ICYMI, Let's Make a Deal takes over the BUZZR Time Machine this Saturday.

I see that Buzzr has been added to Comcast in at least one area according to one Facebook commenter. People may not know this (hell, even I didn't know this), but when GSN first started in 1994, they only had a scattered few episodes converted for their reruns. Eventually within the next few years, virtually their whole library had been converted. Yeah except how many times do you have to convert something? Even if some of these shows have had to have mothballs cleaned off to do now I'd think PYL, Password, LMAD, and Match Game to name 4 wouldn't be a problem since theyve been aired in the range of semi recent years to currently doing so on GSN. From what I've noticed, TV networks seem to be using computer files and hard drives to run programming now. GSN already having done conversions of shows to newer formats is a good point. However, this is just speculation on my part, but it's possible that GSN used their own digibeta copies of shows for them to do conversions to newer broadcast formats and not original master tapes like Fremantle has. ETA: I just remembered, this wouldn't apply for fresh GSN shows like Sale and 1983 and 1986 PYL though. So who knows, honestly. At any rate, whatever the reason is for this, I'm hoping this is remedied soon.

I found links to the old Game Show Warehouse site on the Internet archive for Blockbusters and Card Sharks if anyone watching the shows on Buzzr would like exact airdates and such. If you want to see info from a different year, just go to the top and click on the other year links. They still work.

Just saw a promo for the 4th of July and there were clips of a Password Plus episode with Allen Ludden used. Glad to see that's actually happening and not just a TitanTV mistake.

Buzzr has made some posts on Twitter and Facebook indicating that fresh episodes resume on Monday. Thank goodness.

Buzzr has made some posts on Twitter and Facebook indicating that fresh episodes resume on Monday. Thank goodness. Honestly, I think it's really stupid they put themselves in a position to make this announcement happen. It's their library. Their channel. The fact that in less than what 2-2 1/2 weeks they were already rerunning material is really ridiculous.

Just saw it again and I did notice the Buzzr July 4th promo had a clip of Match Game from a different (earlier) year, based on Gene Rayburn's hair. Looks to be all July 4th themed episodes if it indicates anything. I agree. No matter what the reason also. There was no need for it.

Regardless, I'm sure this stuff does take time, and they probably underestimated the time they needed to do the job. Consider that if they wanted a different episode of their 8am-2pm schedule, 8-11pm schedule, and 2-4am schedule, plus Saturday night (if there's new content), and Sunday night. You're looking at roughly 500 episodes of content for a month. Even more if they didn't rerun the week's stuff on the weekend. Regardless, the rerun situation will get better.

I'm gonna watch these in full a bit later, but checking the TiVo now and it looks like the Child's Play, Body Language, and Card Sharks episodes are back to the point they should be at before last week's sudden reverting.
