From the press release, here's the episode rundown. Yes, it's all episodes that originally aired on July 4th, and all from different points in the runs than what Buzzr has been airing so far (plus P+ making its Buzzr debut).
8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT BODY LANGUAGE (July 4, 1985) 8:30 PM ET/5:30 PM PT MATCH GAME (July 4, 1974) 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT PRESS YOUR LUCK (July 4, 1985) 9:30 PM ET/6:30 PM PT CARD SHARKS (July 4, 1980) 10:00 PM ET/7:00 PM PT SUPER PASSWORD (July 4, 1985) 10:30 PM ET/7:30 PM PT PASSWORD PLUS (July 4, 1980)
Nice to see them break away from what's been airing on the regular schedule - hopefully this keeps up in future Time Machine blocks.

The Janis/Dave/Ted spin battle of Press Your Luck aired today. We should be getting to episode #36 tomorrow at 1:30/7:30 PM; the first episode with the flashback intros. Also I see an extra audience prize plug on this week's episodes that starts the last segment of the show that I'm pretty sure was cut from GSN airings.

So has anyone kept up with the Blockbusters episodes? Which ones have been airing?

So has anyone kept up with the Blockbusters episodes? Which ones have been airing? They started with episode #100 of Bill Cullen's version from 3/19/81 and have gone on from there.

I just got home and turned on the TV and I see future Press Your Luck contestant Karen "Make-Me-Rich-Whammies-You-Can-Drop-Dead!" Martin on Family Feud. I thought she was on this show in 1980 but I wasn't too sure. I don't know details for every single IGAS but Buzzr has started this week with the October 9, 1961 "country fair episode" (which I'm watching in full now) and it was sponsored by Hertz Rent-a-Car. I scanned through the Wednesday show yesterday and it was sponsored by Polaroid. The episode that aired early today was again sponsored by Hertz. So I'm thinking we might be done with the Winston sponsored era of the show, at least for a while, and we won't have to deal with any more skips and jumps for a while. Unless someone knows something I don't... the guide I'm using doesn't specify sponsors. Any confirmation or corrections would be appreciated. Also, the "Plink Plank Plunk" theme music has changed to something else and there's a different logo.

Just posted this on Game Show Follies... Buzzed
I'd like to report on Buzzr's first month in existence, but there are a couple problems. The subchannel isn't on my cable system and there's no sign it ever will be on my cable system. So I can't watch it. The other problem is that the only news I've seen about Buzzr was its Fourth of July lineup. That lineup was good for a faux tweet, anyhow. I track Buzzr through its Facebook page, which is much more informative than the subchannel's website. Another source is what I can only call the fanboi thread about Buzzr on the board formerly known as Matt Ottinger's. To be fair, there have been some faint complaints about Buzzr on that thread. But mostly it's rah-rah for the network, as you would expect. Buzzr seems to be making little progress toward its most important goal: getting onto cable. The subchannel has picked up a few low-power over-the-air stations in Kansas City, Albuquerque, Fresno and Lubbock. But OTA, especially low-power OTA, counts for little nowadays, when the overwhelming majority of people get their TV from cable or satellite. As far as I can see, the schedule is little changed from the debut lineup, one of the oldest anywhere in television. Which will continue to limit the audience to a tiny club of hardcore oldies fans...if they can watch the subchannel in the first place. The good news is that Buzzr hasn't managed to shut down the What's My Line channel on YouTube. Unfortunately, the channel's creator had to take about a hundred videos private, out of more than seven hundred on the site. But this might indicate that much (or most) of the material is public domain and safe from the lawyers.

Catching up on Family Feud and one episode shows Karen Martin's husband Dan (who was her fiance at the time) in the audience. So that was the guy that she wanted to win the pool table for on PYL.

The Tuesday episode of PYL that aired at 1:00/7:00 had a weird little editing gaffe. From what it looks like, the show went with a short ending credit sequence on the episode and then it faded to black. But there's about 10 seconds of black screen and then it cuts back on midway into a full credit sequence with Rod again doing the closing words of "Press Your Luck is a Corruthers Company Presentation", and then it fades to black a second time.
It's interesting seeing these little things now that the credits and such are intact. Also, I can't help but notice all the other mistakes in the earlier episodes. It wasn't the well oiled machine that it eventually came to be when it first began.

PS: anything from Buzzr I'm uploading on dailymotion.

Today, Buzzr aired episode #051 (November 30, 1983) of PYL: Sherry/Michael/Helen. GSN has NEVER shown this episode.
I'm starting to wonder if the reason GSN has skipped this episode, #182, #530, #665-#667, and #676-#678, is NOT because their copies were damaged, but because GSN simply chose not to have the rights to them? I'd be surprised if none of those other skipped episodes show up on Buzzr.

And here is that episode. Looks like the person who uploaded this one was quick to notice it.

I caught up on two weeks' worth of episodes of PYL yesterday. Nice to see them continue on in order. We'll be in 1984 pretty soon.

Wishing to see more Blockbusters episodes posted from BUZZR. I'm at a lull with GSN showing repeats of their current leases of Match Game and $25,000 Pyramid, and no access to BUZZR.
