This Lost and Found thing sounds similar to the Sunday night rarities that GSN did last year, but this sounds even better than that. I still don't have this channel, so hopefully someone will be able to upload all of these shows on YouTube.

Jeffery, I'm looking to get all of them on the BUZZRPlus+ channel, we'll see how much makes it.

Fresh episodes have resumed airing on Buzzr now regularly.
They're showing an original commercial from the original 1962 Match Game pilot. I don't even think that's on the DVD set.

What I mean is that the original commercials aren't included on there but Buzzr is showing them now.

The 1964 episode chosen is the all-star special with Betty White, Joan Fontaine, Peggy Cass, Bennett Cerf, Robert Q. Lewis, and Henry Morgan.

Next up is the Pilot for "Star Words" with Nipsey Russell.
In mid-1983, CBS had a choice between this show and "Press Your Luck", as a replacement for "Child's Play" after the Pilots for both shows were taped in May.
Good thing CBS went with PYL. I cannot imagine an alternate reality where "Star Words" exists, but PYL does not.

It's like they took the concept of Tattletales's partners in soundproof booths and made it into a word association game. I think if it did get chosen it probably would have run for just one year like Child's Play did.
Also the bonus round reminds me a tad of what Classic Concentration's round turned out to be. Though instead of matching a bunch of the same brand cars on a board, it's finding two words that go with one another; and Star Words' bonus round is played with two people.
It's too bad Nipsey didn't have a long-running hosting gig, he was great.

It was recycled in the Body Language and On a Roll Pilots.

The Play for Keeps pilot reminded me of Winner Take All and now I see why at the bottom of this page.

A couple of strange things about the episode code numbering, which may explain why they did Pilots for Family Feud's new format:
1) Apparently, Mark Goodson Productions count the daytime and hour-long daytime shows as completely separate programs, which would explain why the episode count for the 1988-1992 episodes never went past the 1000s range.
2) Apparently, they also count the one season (1994-1995) where Richard Dawson returned as a completely separate show, too.

Makes sense. Wouldn't surprise me if the slates for the hour long shows said "hour-long" on them as well. Probably a good way to avoid confusion for future cataloging and archiving purposes.

The Pilot for The Family Feud Challenge is on right now. I think I like the Bullseye format that was eventually used better.
Some of the graphics look different, and I heard the "falling" SFX from Match Game 90's star wheel.

So now we can see what the 4-digit on the main board was really for.
