Friday's pilots for that week should be more interesting to me. Even though I am not that big a fan of Body Language and Child's Play, I've been pretty interested in the Body Language pilot as of recently, especially since the logo was more with a green outline (as I viewed on the Wiki page). The Child's Play pilot should be interesting too. I have contacted someone to upload the BL pilot to DM after it has aired. I will also be on the lookout for the Family Feud Challenge pilot and the two 1992 episodes too. I also find it surprising that Buzzr will be replaying the 1963 Let's Make a Deal pilot yet again.
It's unfortunate we won't be seeing the 1983 pilot for Press Your Luck, but oh well.

From what I remember, the pilot of Child's Play had a better format structure than the one that was used on the air. Will be nice to see in good quality.

Pilot clips from Body Language did actually make it to early promos. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sY61BMb3qpEAnd yes that's actress Anne Marie Johnson as one of the contestants, and yes that's "Working Girl March" from the movie Tootsie.

BUZZR is being added to the Service Electric Cable TV, Inc. systems in the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, PA) and Hunterdon, NJ areas from WTXF-DT4 Philadelphia, as announced from their Twitter page, "In September."

We should be getting back to where we were with the regular schedule before the latest rewind this week.
ETA: Nope. Checking the DVR now on 9/1... and... never mind.

So any news on this coming to Dish? Or KXVA Fox Abilene, or KIDZ, Fox Abilene?

So any news on this coming to Dish? Or KXVA Fox Abilene, or KIDZ, Fox Abilene? BUZZR will not be on any local DISH systems, as they do not carry full-power sub-channels or low-power stations (at all). The rare instance of BUZZR appearing on a local DISH system would require the unlikely occurrence that a full-power station in your market carries the network on their primary channel (.1) AND register "must-carry." That requires all pay-tv providers to carry that channel, regardless of programming or network affiliation, on their systems free of charge. Rabbit Ears and the BUZZR website does not currently have an Abilene, TX affiliate listed. So, as we know it, BUZZR's not yet available in your area. By the way, if you want to contact your local TV stations, do not restrict yourself to your FOX or MyNetworkTV affiliate station. Affiliation for a network is done either on an independent basis, or by the station group. Contact all of your local stations and ask for BUZZR.

Wait... So I have HDTV with subchannels (see the thread in OT). So if Buzzr comes up to CT, does this mean I won't get it? Would I need rabbit ears? COX has already transitioned so that TVs hooked straight up to the wall need to have a converter.

COX has already transitioned so that TVs hooked straight up to the wall need to have a converter. No, not necessarily. Many cable companies that carry network sub-channels from local affiliates will carry BUZZR. Some haven't yet (in the applicable markets). Simply put, if your provider, COX, has and does carried local sub-channels, they will likely considered carrying your local BUZZR sub-channel. Some providers choose not to carry sub-channels, such as AT&T U-Verse. DirecTV and DISH are limited and cannot carry local sub-channels due to the high bandwidth. It differs from cable such that DTV and DISH put the local channels from all markets in the same system. A COX system in Connecticut and a COX system elsewhere are two completely different systems. Watching Game Show Network on your COX system comes from a different head end then someone watching from COX in a different market. DTV and DISH use the same head end. That's why they can't add local sub-channels. Not enough space. Firstly, you'll need a local TV station to carry BUZZR on a sub-channel. Then, the station will go to COX and offer their new sub-channel in which COX can then prepare a contract to carry it. Simply put, get a market station to carry it, then ask COX to pick it up.

Really annoying how close Buzzr is to the Scranton/WB area and yet we pretty much remain on an island because no one will pick it up. I have Service Electric but Buzzr will remain a no-go for us outside the Lehigh Valley.

I have Service Electric but Buzzr will remain a no-go for us outside the Lehigh Valley. Whether you have the SE Cablevision Hazleton/Mahanoy City/Shenandoah system or Danville system, or you have Service Electric Cable's Wilkes-Barre system, you're not getting BUZZR until a local picks it up. Even SECV's Birdsboro system doesn't carry BUZZR yet, and Berks County is in the Philadelphia area market.
