I'm hoping Buzzr finds a way to work Win Ben Stein's Money onto their schedule at some point. After all, they're airing Bzzz. But, Bzzz and Win Ben Stein's Money are not Fremantle shows.

Bzzz was syndicated by Tribune, as was Richard Simmons Dream Maker. They aired Dream Maker on Labor Day a few years ago in one of their Lost and Found blocks/

So, tell me again. Is it still hard for Buzzr to show Bob Barker's Price Is Right or no? I'm sorry if I forgot but I thought that Buzzr had the rights to the whole Fremantle library. TPIR is locked up for different reasons depending on who you ask. The consensus seems to be that once Bob passes away, most of the problems holding it up should be cleared pretty quickly

'Cleared'?
And if Buzzr wants to show Drew's version instead, then they will have to get permission from CBS, Drew and Fremantle first, right?

The two current theories that seem to be the most commonly accepted as to why we don’t see TPIR reruns are A. CBS retains a certain level of control over the show and doesn’t want reruns to air and compete with the daily first run episodes. This is Buzzr’s official excuse and there may be a grain of truth here, but it doesn’t explain why CBS was fine with reruns on GSN for 6 or so years when they aired it. This can easily be resolved the next time Freemantle has to negotiate with CBS if it is an issue. There’s also B. Bob himself also retains a level of control over the show and has held a long standing grudge against previous models on the show who accused him of impropriety. Bob seems to be a man who doesn’t easily let go and thus flexes his muscle to prevent reruns from airing. It’s known that in the past Bob personally intervened to stop episodes where fur was given away from being reaired, so there could be truth here as well. Regardless, I think we’ll see the reruns eventually sooner rather than later, but I am of the belief that once the gates are clear and Freemantle gets the rights to control the reruns again, they won’t air on Buzzr. Instead Freemantle will sell the rights to Amazon or Netflix or CBS All Access and make a mint from doing so.

It's only an idea. Does CBS have a problem with Buzzr showing Let's Make A Deal?

It's only an idea. Does CBS have a problem with Buzzr showing Let's Make A Deal? Not that I’ve ever heard, the Monty Hall LMAD is an entirely different show for the most part from the Wayne Brady version that airs today. They share the same name and a similar concept but that’s about it. The old LMAD also was a totally different production company as well, and I believe it was syndicated and didn’t air on any one network.

The only ABC primetime episodes that exist are the ones that were part of the weekly syndicated package, and practically nothing from either network's daytime episodes exist.

Actually, it was stated that 1,100 classic episodes exist, and Fremantle has the rights to 600 (in addition to the current version).

Buzzr shows Jack Narz's Now You See It but they can not show Chuck Henry's version of it.
Chuck told GSN that he doesn't want them showing his version because he hated hosting it and not only that, if GSN showed it, then it would actually ruin Chuck's television news career.

Buzzr and GSN may not show it out of respect for his wishes, but I highly doubt he could actually do anything to stop them from doing so if they wanted to.

That's misinformation from alt.tv.game-shows. The real reason, according to Adam Nedeff, is because GSN never had any interest.

And not only that, Gene Rayburn said(when he was around)that he did not want his version of Break The Bank seen anywhere because he hated doing it.

I am looking forward to the day this stops being passed around as gospel; it was a bad internet "rumor" that was accepted as fact. The reason the Chuck Henry version of Now You See It never aired on GSN was because no one at GSN was ever interested enough to air it. That's up there with "Alex Trebek was drunk on the final episode of High Rollers" on the list of bad ATGS internet rumors I could live without people repeating as truth.

GSN can not show Treasure Hunt again because of music clearances but they did show it back in late 07.
And they did not want to show Peter Marshall's Hollywood Squares again because nobody 'ever heard' of the celebrities that were on that show, I don't understand that.
Match Game also had many celebrities that nobody ever heard of.
