Responding to the post about my mom’s and my appearance on Blockbusters, I can say with 100% certainty that my mom was not provided with any answers in advance during her appearance on Tic Tac Dough. Don’t appreciate her integrity being challenged with absolutely no evidence.

Wow! Hi lizmccarthy! Welcome to the Forum. We enjoyed seeing you and your mom Pat on Blockbusters during that incredible run you two had. I am so sorry to hear of her passing though. Without a doubt, you were my favorite family pair on there because of the "balance" you two had during the Gold Run where you knew the modern questions and your mom the "older" dated questions. That was great to watch! Also I enjoyed watching your Jeopardy! appearance several years ago. It dawned on me when I heard your name and saw you that I said to my older brother (we watched Jeopardy for years) "That's Liz from Blockbusters!" So this is great having a former contestant on here.

TOnight's LMAD 8:30PM airing had Dean Goss hosting a deal, of which Dean posted a clip on his Youtube page. ISTR another deal with Clorets that Dean hosted that he had posted to his Youtube page

Don’t appreciate her integrity being challenged with absolutely no evidence. The fact that the 50s Tic Tac Dough was cited in the quiz show scandals had us wondering about that. Seems as though the last show of Blockbusters in 1982 should have been you and your Mom vs. John Hatten, as John Hatten came back to win his final ten games in the last few weeks of the series, and his last show was the second or third to last show. Wonder if John is still alive? He'd have to be about 85 or 90 if he were, as he had teenage kids in the early 80s

I believe that Bill Wendell was hosting TTD at that point?

Johnny Gilbert is still living too surprisingly, he did Card Sharks and Child's Play as a fill-in.

Burton RIchardson of Truth 1990 and TNPIR94 is another living Goodson announcer, as is Alan Kalter(late 70s and early 80s Truth), Mark Driscoll and Don Morrow from NYSI89 are still alive as well. Gilbert's debut with Goodson was as the ABC era CUllen TPIR announcer from 1963-65. THose five plus Bob Hilton means there are at least six living Goodson show announcers.

The July 14, 1986 episode (which is episode 135) of "Card Sharks" (Eubanks) aired today instead of episode 134 (July 11, 1986) that was on today's schedule.

Tonight's Concentration 1072 had commercial cuts way off and the ending was cut off.

For the Lucy marathon, both the WML and IGAS episodes aired years ago on Buzzr, but both had the new Fremantle logo at the end. First time I've seen that on an older transfer.

It appears today is #1072 of Concentration, which was screwed up the last time around. I knew the contestants looked familiar.
