Scott Rahner is reporting the following (from his blog): Also, I was told today (but I cannot reveal the source) that the classics block on GSN will be now known as "BUZZR on GSN", reflecting a new partnership between the two. It will still be 8:00am to 10:00am but may grow if ratings allow. Full credits without crunches, just as they appear on Buzzr, will be intact during this block. Expect an announcement very soon, with this possibly starting at the beginning of July. A definite way for those to see Buzzr who do not have it. Scott Rahner (and I have a hunch I know what name he goes by here) has been known to stretch the truth quite a bit, and he had been ripped to shreds on a few other message boards. Not sure if I'd listen to him. And I just remembered that two years ago in Christmas, he reported claims that a Supermarket Sweep marathon was coming to GSN. Later, we found out it was NOT the case.

This report from Scott Rahner sounds like a complete crock to me. It now seems to have disappeared from his blog. He left a similar report on my blog, by the way.
Scott got in trouble with the Soska twins when he speculated that Hellevator would likely return without them for the second season. The twins ripped Scott on their Twitter feed, and sure enough, they will be around for the second season of the show. I would take anything from Scott Rahner with a metric ton of salt.
Buzzr on GSN? Seems ridiculous, like an April Fools joke in May. But who knows, stranger things have happened. Also, Scott posts on this board under the handle "gsnnadmin" (Game Show Network News admin).
By the way, Time Warner Cable has now picked up Buzzr in major markets, including my home DFW market. It's in the nosebleed section on channel 1261, but it's there. I've watched a few shows on the diginet, particularly Match Game.

Yeah, I should have known better. Considering that he deleted his post on his blog, which he's famous for doing when he's wrong and not going to admit it.

wildjackmonroe a couple of Body Language questions: 1) Other than the Betty Thomas & Brian Matthews and Fern Fitzgerald & Roger E. Mosley weeks, were there any other weeks that were NEVER reran on GSN? 2) Which weeks has Buzzr shown since June 1? The order Buzzr aired them? Any episodes skipped?

If I may add a third - when did they change the on-screen display from eggcrate to vane?

"Buzzr on GSN" block? Partnership? I will believe it if I see it.
But then again, there have been partnerships for block programming on other networks in the past. NBC had the Discovery Kids block on Saturday mornings, and CBS did use to have the Nick Jr. block.
As for matchthestars' question about changing from Eggcrate to Vane on Body Language, I am thinking by late June or beginning of July 1984. I think I remember reading back in 2006 that the last day with Eggcrate being used had Audrey Landers and Charles Nelson Reilly as the celebrity players, and Stefoni was the champion.

Scott Rahner has left a note on my blog and posted a tweet saying that the report of "Buzzr on GSN" comes from an impostor. I don't know and I don't care. The whole thing sounds like a joke to me.

I believe it is a joke. What are the odds of Buzzr actually partnering with GSN? It doesn't really make sense.

I'm not sure about your first question because I only had access to GSN on a regular basis when it aired Body Language most recently. So I'm not sure about what might have been aired from late 1985 onto the finale before that. As for the second question, they seem to have gone in order starting from January 21, 1985 (the second episode of the week of shows with Marcia Wallace and Fred Travalena) up to the week of April 2, 1985 (with Vicki Lawrence and Charles Nelson Reilly as of last week). Also the July 4th episode with Lisa Bonet and Jason Bateman was shown on July 4th last year.

I still can hardly believe that both of those skipped weeks are now officially on the trading circuit. All 5 episodes from both of them. I NEVER expected them to resurface. I thought they'd be lost to time. They had NEVER been on the trading circuit up until this year.

Buzzr's schedule has now been posted for most of June. Of special note (in addition to the June 1 festivities), the following TTTT (Collyer) marathon is slated for Sunday June 12, from noon to midnight. It includes an airing of the pilot.
Would someone please note which of these episodes are new to Buzzr? I'm guessing they are the episodes airing from 8p-midnight.

To Tell The Truth 61 A celebrity panel tries to guess which of three contestants is the person they are claiming to be. (original airdate 1/2/1961) 12:40pm

WarioSajak said in another forum that some of the episodes for the To Tell the Truth marathon could be from the daytime run. I don't think that seems likely, given the fact that the primetime run moved to Monday nights in September 1960.

Also, regarding the June 1 broadcasts of Combs' Feud and other goodies that evening, I think they all have something in common. They may be all episodes that originally aired exactly one year after they debuted, which might be Buzzr's way of celebrating its one-year anniversary with a marathon containing episodes from the one-year anniversary of the series, and an episode currently in the normal rotation (Combs' Feud doesn't air regularly, but Buzzr is airing the 1987 pilot, followed by what I suspect to be either the July 4, 1989 episode of the CBS version (what i am leaning to the most) or the season two premiere of the syndicated run. Let's Make a Deal have two episodes from 1985, I am thinking they're from the beginning of the second season. And I am thinking Press Your Luck from 1984 will likely be a September (19th?) 1984 broadcast with John Harlan filling in for Rod Roddy.

I don't think that seems likely, given the fact that the primetime run moved to Monday nights in September 1960. I was speculating, since the two versions overlapped for almost five years. GSN aired some daytime episodes from the overlapping period, so I wouldn't be surprised if Buzzr did as well. That, and the fact that five episodes in the marathon predate the Collyer shows they've been airing (that being pretty much all of 1961 and '62), one of which is the Nothing But The Truth pilot.
