To be fair, Barker's issues with models (and certain staff members) are probably a big reason why Price isn't on Buzzr. Felt like CardSharksFan8689's remark about models was kind of pushing it.

Buzzr rotates shows in and out of the slots that aren't taken up by Match Game, Family Feud, the black and white trio, and Let's Make a Deal. Even if there aren't many of those slots on weekdays (only four hours, in fact). In the interview with TV News Check, Fremantle exec Jennifer Mullin got a little defensive about how Buzzr uses the same shows for almost all of the weekday schedule. But the direct response advertisers want shows that make the phones ring, not obscurities that only a handful of game show fanatics remember.
As for Bob Barker and The Price is Right on Buzzr, Fremantle has all the eps in the world available. I'm sure they could put together a package for Buzzr that Barker wouldn't mind. CBS might be another matter, though once upon a time they did allow TPiR reruns on GSN. Again, it's hard to think of an old Fremantle game show (not already on Buzzr) that could boost the diginet significantly...except Barker TPiR.

I remember something of this magnitude being stated on the GSN boards as to why it wasn't on that network. And I was trying to give Bob Barker the benefit of the doubt at the time on this, because while there were definitely some glaring omissions from the best of DVD set released by BCI, there were plenty of episodes with at least one of the models as to which he had a falling out with: Janice Pennington. And the reason for lack of GSN reruns made sense at the time. Also sequentially, it was announced that a new version of LMAD would be coming to CBS and not too long after that, the classic version of that show was gone from GSN.
Now at this point in time, I don't think I can disagree with this statement. It was one thing for GSN to lose the rights. And it actually makes believable sense if CBS or Fremantle made ridiculously strict terms to air Price. After all, it's their show. But it just looks weird now that Let's Make a Deal, To Tell The Truth, Family Feud, and Match Game continue being rerun on Buzzr prominently, and have (in the case of LMAD, still do) while new versions air on CBS and ABC. Buzzr even used its classic library of TTTT, FF, and MG episodes to cross-promote new episodes the day these shows premiered! One of the key cornerstones of Buzzr's launch was the pilot episode of LMAD with interview pieces with Wayne Brady and Monty Hall. LMAD airs on the same network as TPIR and classic LMAD is one of the key front burner mainstays of Buzzr in spite all of the schedule shuffling they've done over the last year, and they've given that show an extra hour of airtime in the last month or so.
Also GSN did a similar thing with $25,000 Pyramid. No marathon, but a little graphic on the screen mentioned the debut of the new $100k version based on one of the uploads I saw from someone else's dailymotion page.
Nothing in terms of the reasoning with these other shows makes Price is Right's situation any different. Absolutely nothing.
Based on this chain of events with Fremantle's other shows, Pyramid, and this? I'm sorry, but something does not add up here.

Does anyone know why Buzzr broadcasts basically the same episodes of game shows over and over again? All of their games are shown from the same few months, then are repeated over and over. Is it a cost issue or a licensing issue or something else?
It would be nice to see some fresh episodes or some different series once in awhile.
Would really like to know.

Would really like to know. It's baffling. It can't be a licensing issue, can it? Fremantle owns both the network and the shows, do they not?

I recall Casey explaining this somewhere once. Yes they own the libraries but legally they have to put money on the books as if they were licensing it to someone else. So in essence Buzzr is still accountable to "pay" for the show. I'm sure they don't have a huge budget so that's what they are left to do.
I'm not an accountant and that's a very short version and possibly missing something but he can explain it again if he chooses to.

But when Buzzr was still in its infancy, they'd show a few episodes and then replay them a week or two later.

The 2:00-3:00PM weekday slot next week is replacing Super Password with Card Sharks 86. I don't think I'll ever get my missing SP episode from 12/28/84. Grrr.
Also, the 3:00-4:00 slot changes from Blockbusters to Body Language.

I've asked before, but no takers. The only one I know who might have it is ScottEC, who I've traded with before, but he's been off the grid for a while now except for the occasional YT post.

The BUZZR listings just rolled over for the week of 12/12, and the only significant note is that there will be a special marathon of TTTT on the night of 12/18, 4pm-11pm. buzzrplay.com/schedule/schedule_by_date/2016/12/18/America/New_YorkOf note, there will be 3.5 hours of 1970-71 eps. I'm not holding out hope they will be new-to-BUZZR. Curiously, in a half hour slot at 7:30pm, they list the 2/25/63 episode. The "TTTTontheWeb" site lists Robert Q. Lewis as host that evening and none of the subjects are known. Anyone know anything about this? Rounding out the evening will be the pilot, the 5/11/64 ep, the 9/14/64 ep., and two more 1971 eps. Given they plan to air 9 70-71 eps, I presume they will be reruns, since that is the same number of 70-71 eps that have aired on BUZZR to-date. Hopefully Christmas week will give us something more exciting for a change.
