While you're at that, Mandy. Someone else has been posting episodes of the classic You Bet Your Life on its own channel. Over 100 episodes so far.

www.youtube.com/user/WhatsMyLineCBS/videosHave any of you fans of WML viewed the vids on this awesome channel? He has virtually every existing episode of the original 1950-1967 series. I should mention that I have known WML since I was 10 years old, but I never actually got into it, until recently thanks to this YT channel.

It's an incredible resource. Starting from the beginning, I'm slowly nearing the finish of the 1950-54 playlist.
The early episodes are some of my favorites, although several dozen are lost to history. Hal Block capably provided comic relief, keeping the censor alert as he flirted with every female between the ages of 3 and 130.
As the series progressed, the mystery guest segment ("our special feature") seemed to grow in prominence, as the show found itself able to attract the biggest names in the business. I enjoy seeing them all, except I fast-forward through the politicians and war heroes.
Be aware that some of the YouTube videos are "quality-impaired" -- random segments are truncated, a few seconds at a time. The technical term is "dropouts," apparently.

I always liked the 1960s B&W episodes of What's My Line better because its even more unique & entertaining and has Johnny Olson announcing on most of these shows.

As the channel trailer (below) notes, it'll only be the nighttime (1956-67) shows. He doesn't have anything of the daytime (1962-68) version.

For those who don't get Buzzr, don't care about it, or haven't looked in that thread: The guy who runs the terrific but endangered What's My Line channel on YouTube reports on my blog that Fremantle and Buzzr have managed to block 15 videos and get his account "in bad standing." A purely idiotic move by Buzzr, IMO, but what can anybody do? Nice to know that Buzzr has plenty of time to persecute classics fans who create great sites on YouTube, but not enough time to post a schedule or to get their dinky little subchannel onto more cable systems. So watch what you can before this channel gets yanked.

Merged a few threads together. Something else I wanted to share with you...
The guy who made the WML channel thinks he's going to move all videos to a site of his own, so that nothing is blocked by Fremantle. A lot of videos are getting blocked recently; more than is necessary.

To actually explain what the above is, it's a nine-minute audio-only excerpt from What's My Line?, specifically the lost episode aired December 2, 1951.
