Perhaps they could be grooming Mike RIchards at Sony to succeed Harry Friedman if he retires. Harry Friedman is in his 70s now, having worked game shows going back to circa 1971 on Squares.

Any shows in the first few weeks of the season that offer trips to the Bahamas will most certainly get rescheduled thanks to Hurricane Dorian's trolling of the Bahamas this weekend.

Not necessarily. Adding an onscreen message/voiceover saying "Hey, we taped this before Hurricane Dorian struck." would go a long way. Waitasec... Hurricane Dorian's trolling of the Bahamas this weekend. Seriously? A Category 5 storm is currently hitting the Bahamas, causing severe flooding and huge damage to trees and houses (and who knows what else as it continues onward), and you're like "dur hur hurricanes be trollin'"? F*ck off.

F*ck off. I reported his post, but apparently nobody gave a damn. I mean, we all know ZHMTHOP, but what's a poster to do... I'm with Daniel on this one. F*ck off, Zach.

I don't agree with the choice of words being used, but don't episodes with trips to storm-damaged countries (or areas of the US) get moved around? (I read the reported post.)
Yeah, if the Bahamas is a prize, chances are it will be getting moved.

Not TPIR, but Buy a Vowel boards reports that a trip to the Bahamas is a prize puzzle trip that will be offered on the November 14th episode(AMerica's Game episode taped when the week of 9/23-9/27 was). A WOF episode in early in season 35 offered a trip to Puerto Rico in the Prize Puzzle, shortly after Hurricane Maria hit PR, as per Buy a Vowel boards, and an explanatory caption was added on the screen at the start of the prize copy.

If Mike Richards had not replaced Roger Dobkowitz as executive producer, do you think Rich Fields would still have been fired?

If Mike Richards had not replaced Roger Dobkowitz as executive producer, do you think Rich Fields would still have been fired? I think Rich, along with six other cast members, would have still been laid off anyway, Roger or no Roger. And the truth is, we may never know the true reason for those layoffs.

According to Randy West on Facebook, The Price is Right taped its 9000th episode today. That episode will air on October 10th. The 48th season premiere is this Monday September 23rd! I wonder what the 50th anniversary special will be like in two years?

Jeopardy's 8000th episode of the syndicated run will air on October 4th. They'll say it's episode 8065, however, because they counted 65 rerun episodes in Summer 1985 as new episodes and dubbed them episodes 196-260.

Besides Side By Side getting made over and the Grand Game getting some touchups, the Card Game table became longer as of the 9/30/2019 episode, eschewing its usual shape for the past 45 years. It has the same logo it's had since 2014, however. Game still played in front of contestant's row.
