What is there to notice? Asking someone to do something and telling someone to do something are two different things. I feel as though asking is not slavery.
They're more than close enough. Lacking the wisdom of Solomon, I want to look up a word for you: Criticism.
the act of criticizing usually unfavorably.
Okay, so unfavorably is the same as adversely. Hence, let's look up adversely in the dictionary.
1: acting against or in a contrary direction : hostile
2 a: opposed to one's interests; especially: unfavorable <adverse criticism>
Whoa Nelly! Now we're getting somewhere. Therefore, any criticisms are acting to impede a person, ergo all criticism and suggestions are exactly that, with the intent of destroying the person, PERIOD.
Mom once said to me "if someone doesn't like you, or don't want you around, they'll find a way to get rid of you". Need I say more? No.
Eventually this will evolve to the point where I have to accept unlimited amounts of teasing, taunting, tormenting, abuse, pain, misery and suffering and not even be able to say anything as controversial as "This sucks" while taking unlimited amounts of verbal, physical, psychological and emotional abuse. That's how criticizers and competitors work.
First it's "suggestions", then it's "criticisms", then "verbal abuse", then it's a ball-peen hammer to the back of my head, and eventually it's anything you damn well please. I can't say anything because that makes me the asshole. Of course by then, my independent thought will be down to zero. I'll be masturbating in a fucking corner watching reruns of The Simpsons and a perfect yes man. Never disagreeing with anyone. Ray Combs is a God? Yes sir. Of course sir. What a life. That is provided I don't bleed to death from all the escalated "suggestions" you give me.
Deny the fact that you pour the fuel on the fire by using the features at a quick pace. I could go through your threads on both incarnations of the GSN boards and show you how you roll.
And I stated my reasons to you at least five times. For someone who claims I'm full of stubbornness, perhaps you should look at yourself closer.
I said "let me try something that nobody else has done". I never said "I don't like this result, so I'm going to try to fix it". Look at the Buzz board. I told you that quite a few times. Everyone else was on board with it. And my opinion doesn't mean shit there... Unlike you, who breaks ties in the ToL.
But you love the show, whereas before DWTS, you actually were somewhat opposed to Mr. Bergeron. I remember those times, and all of a sudden, he became one of your sacred cows.
My intention was not to give you the finger. I didn't know that anyone (other than Shelly) was going to vote the way that they did. Honestly.
You weren't even the first one to vote after the update, you had to know the pile was happening at that time -- if not, certainly by the 2nd or 3rd day. The worst part is that you guys all fell rank and file just like lemmings right off a cliff. The block votes all came for the same person, hence the only logical move was to cancel the game entirely.
It was never supposed to be spiteful. You just think that's the case.
I don't believe that for one fucking second, but let's give you the benefit of the doubt. Even if you were technically innocent, other people were not. Like Adam and Shelly. Facts are facts. One or two votes varied a day would have made all the difference, but no. It was all "fuck him over again and again". Well, this time I stood up for myself for a fucking change instead of laying there like a slave and sucking the dicks and kissing the asses of your sacred cow hosts.
And that's why you're mad, because after I had gotten kicked in the head with a steel-toed boot over and over, instead of taking it like a bitch, I made sure the kicks in the head stopped.
Well, you threw Stacey Hayes into the Underdog Hall, who I think just plain sucks. I would have preferred limbo, where we could have focused on the actual game... But you'd probably think all of them are too dorky or obnoxious for limbo.
I'm sure that nothing short of your sacred cow hosts getting immortality and/or blindly following you (which would exacerbate my depression to epic levels) will appease you guys. Period. It was fairly obvious by the voting patterns.
You're asking me a question that you should know the answer to. Look at my games. I do "yes/no" for 10-Spots and "stay/go" for any Sudden Deaths. That's mainly because I don't have witty lines for shows. I've been doing it for a while - probably since I took over the game from FNCNASCAR and tpirrules.
So you're faulting me for needing to spice up a game that would have been drab otherwise?
Bullshit, and you know it. I know people aren't going to agree with me. I feel happy when there's that rare moment when they do, but when people don't, that's fine. Shelly wants you banned because you've been twisting words around and claiming that we've said different things. The only reason why you're not getting banned is because none of this is technically a personal attack.
Plus with me out of the way, her sacred cows will go unimpeded to the Hall of Fame if the game is picked up by other forces. See, it's all about the truth. Watch motives, not just words.
With me being incapable of lying (a lovely side effect of my Asperger's), it's easy to see that I call it the way I see it. However, some people are more deceptive. You need to look at intent.
I already discussed this with you on Facebook.
One of those moments where I've learned something. Thanks.
That's more common of a mistake than you would think.
Still... As I've said, asking someone to do something and forcing someone to do something? Not one in the same.
W-R-O-N-G... W-R-O-N-G.... W-R-O-N-G... look up criticism again-o.
So given all of that... You would have stopped way before the move to the new forum in 2010. Once you noticed the decline in voting, you should have stopped.
I stopped when I was being abused, period.
UGSHS, UGSS, and the late UGSAS? Competitions. All of them.
Yeah, but I didn't expect the game to turn into a "Fuck Neko over" fest. When it's like that, with all other competitons, the only right move is not to play.
Was it too much to ask for some variance? No. Period. Instead, it was "give it up now for The Chosen Few". Even four additional votes of staggering would have averted this.
Anyways, point is the ToL is dead. I just have to decide if I can trust you guys enough to keep the regular game going. Against my better judgment, I decided to update it. I don't really know why. Maybe morbid curiosity or maybe to prove my point.
