$1M Chance of a Lifetime was distributed by Lorimar, so it more than likely should be in the hands of Warner Brothers today.

I used to watch a lot of game shows as a kid. My favorite hosts were Wink, Tom Kennedy and Jim Lange -- I really will miss him, even though he hasn't hosted a game show in eons.
Now more than ever we need a revival of game shows and new hosts that are given a chance to be good.

Sad to see a game show legend gone.
Of all the game show hosting legends:
Bob Barker Tom Kennedy Jim Perry Chuck Woolery Alex Trebek Monty Hall Bob Eubanks Peter Marshall Wink Martindale
And one more I don't know off the top of my head.
If my math is correct, only ten game show legends remain.
And it is great that GSN is doing a tribute marathon on Wednesday. I certainly will be recording two of the DG episodes that morning - the one with Michael Jackson, and the one with Casey Kasem (especially since Casey Kasem has advanced Parkinson's Disease and has only months to live as of last November).

Bob Barker -- 90 Tom Kennedy -- 87 Jim Perry -- 80 Chuck Woolery -- 72 Alex Trebek -- 73 Monty Hall -- 92 Bob Eubanks -- 76 Peter Marshall -- 87 Wink Martindale -- 79 And one more I don't know off the top of my head. Geoff Edwards -- 83 The only ones I can think of although I would be semi-hesitant to call them "legends" Pat Sajak -- 67 Bob Goen -- 59 Marc Summers -- 62 Chuck Barris -- 84 Regis Philbin -- 82 These guys are getting really old though.

Who owns the Dating Game? Because, it seems like it's really easy for GSN to get their hands on, even for select episodes. Last time it was seen, I believe was in 2008 when GSN was airing the game show marathons before the Play It Back shows began.
I vaguely remember watching, but I may record those episodes on WWednesday just to refresh my memory. I'd like to see some Bullseye, that seemed like a great show, I've never seen it I don't believe.
RIP, Jim Lange. He was a great host.

When I was watching Catch-21 today they showed an ad on GSN advertising the Dating Game/Jim Lange tribute marathon and I think GSN is doing a really smart thing to honor Jim Lange and judging how successful this marathon will be tomorrow I could see GSN adding The Dating Game reruns to their lineup in the near future and that would make game show fans very happy indeed, Kelsey

RIP Jim! Very underrated indeed. You know he got his start with the Tennessee Ernie Ford show as the sidekick announcer to the late singer on his ABC show from 1962-1965.
