Let's Make A Deal won it's very first Emmy? What a historic milestone in the Outstanding Game Show category for the game show world indeed. When my mother and I first heard about the Emmy for Outstanding Game Show we had our picks at which show would win and I predicted The Chase would win an Emmy and Mom bet her savings on Let's Make A Deal and as always Mom was right. Mike Richards should be proud of us LMAD watchers for making a milestone in Emmy history come true, Kelsey P.S. Who won the Emmy for Outstanding Game Show Host? I'm curious to know

If you have any impressive changes that you would like to see on next season's Let's Make A Deal what would you like to see. Here's mine, 1. An animated intro to Let's Make A Deal, I think an animated intro would be really cute and Wayne Brady would be so cute drawn as an animated character standing behind a red box and when it opens the words LET'S MAKE A DEAL would pop out jack-in the box style and that would be a wonderful intro, 2. Have Wayne come out and surprise contestants with a special box called the Big Surprise, The Big Surprise would be played as a guessing game as the contestant that was picked has a limit of 20 seconds to guess what the Big Surprise is and the player who guesses correctly wins it. And the best part is regardless if the player goes for the Big Deal or not they get to keep the Big Surprise, 3. More fun prizes for the Big Deal, I would love it if Let's Make A Deal had more exciting prizes such as trips to Disneyland/Walt Disney World a weekend at a dude ranch in Texas or even a New Orleans getaway would be cool and there would also be prizes like RV's and memberships to campgrounds for a year, 4. Make Monty Hall host Let's Make A Deal for a day, I think it would be awesome if Let's Make A Deal would let Monty Hall host the show for just one day next season. And I think it would be wonderful to see Wayne Brady and Monty Hall interact as a team and of course when Monty Hall hosted Let's Make A Deal Wayne would be playing as a contestant for charity, And so that's my changes for Let's Make A Deal's new season, What do you think?, Kelsey

How about something simple?
Two traders in the Big Deal. I grow sick of just one. Does someone not want to see a winner EVER?

I agree with two traders in the Big Deal.
Also, get rid of that cheesy "ZONK" sign. I think most people know what prizes can be considered zonks at this point.

Also, get rid of that cheesy "ZONK" sign. I think most people know what prizes can be considered zonks at this point. Same can still be said with the screen saying "big box" when there's clearly a big box on the floor. I'm going to merge about ninety threads on LMAD, so this doesn't take up 99.9% of this board.

Was Wayne Brady's version of Let's Make A Deal originally filmed at a hotel in Las Vegas? Because when it first began the intro showed a hotel with palm trees in the background. And now that I'm watching Let's Make A Deal I noticed that the show is now filmed at CBS Studios, Was this done to save money?, Kelsey

The first season of the current Deal was indeed taped at the Tropicana in Vegas.

So Let's Make A Deal was actually taped at a Las Vegas hotel for it's first season after all? I wonder why CBS decided to move Let's Make A Deal to the Bob Barker Studio in Hollywood. Was it to save money on Let's Make A Deal episodes or production costs?, Kelsey

I think it was a bit of both, plus the studio is bigger in LA than at the Tropicana, if memory serves me right.

I was channel surfing today and I noticed that tomorrow's Let's Make A Deal episode will not be shown due to US Open Tennis and I would like to know if Let's Make A Deal is gonna be shown all this week or will US Open Tennis replace Let's Make A Deal?, Kelsey

will US Open Tennis replace Let's Make A Deal? Check your local listings. I don't know where you are in the US, and I'm assuming TV Guide's listings are not your friend.
