$10,000 was given away in a quickie deal. On the 3rd shot Oh. I actually never watch the quickie deals. I turned back to The Chase on GSN after the big deal was revealed, so I didn't know about this until now. I just don't find quickie deals to be all that interesting or worthwhile.

A historic moment on today's show. A $21K car, almost certainly the most expensive prize ever traded away on LMAD, was traded way to go for a Big Deal worth a few hundred dollars more than that. The contestant got the third place door. There was one instance in the Monty version where a contestant traded away a prize worth more than the Big Deal. A 70s nighttime episode saw a contestant trade a $10K bond away, before they knew it was worth $10K, to go for a $9K Big Deal.

The 9/19 14th season premiere of LMAD will likely get postponed until 9/20 as CBS will probably be covering the Queen Elizabeth II funeral scheduled that day. It will be 3PM in London when it is 10AM EST.

Apparently, TPIR ran as normal. I was out of the house, so I assume LMAD was run at the usual time as well? Meanwhile... I think this is relevant. Wayne Brady will be part of the S31 cast of Dancing With the Stars, airing exclusively on Disney+ starting tonight. His official photo with pro dancer Witney Carson:

CBS stopped its Queen Lizzie coverage before 10AM EST, so LMAD and TPIR aired as scheduled on the East Coast.

Today on LMAD:
A former long-distance runner, diagnosed with MS, began to play Spell Me a Deal. She got up, grabbed her walking cane, and Wayne told her to stay at the left spot for contestants (right next to her seat). He came over to her. I thought that was nice. He doesn't usually do things like that.
No spoiler warnings needed, because this doesn't affect gameplay.

In the zonk redemption episode today someone was giving the stats that he has from game to game which he used to decide what deal to do. though the host said after the commercial break his percentages add up to 158. A contestant after our own likings.

so LMAD still doesn't have a full audience like TPIR does.

^ But at least it's more people than during COVID-19. Plus, I noticed that social distancing was still being practised on LMAD, but not on TPIR.

so LMAD still doesn't have a full audience like TPIR does. But they have had no at-home contestants, which I've found semi-normal.

Noticed this week that Wayne's "Let's Make a Deal" is airing on BET Her throughout the day. Some episodes have different segments edited together like the last Deal going right into the "Big Deal" and then "Quickie Deals" without a commercial. Some episodes that air overnight have been expanded from 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes. I clocked one commercial segment at 7 minutes 30 seconds.
