A reminder:
The Online GSN Schedule has been filled for July 24-26. The last week of year one, with Vicki Lawrence & Harry Anderson (September 12-16, 1983) starts on July 26. There were three tiebreakers on the Thursday episode. Then, if everything goes well, we start the Audrey Landers & Charlie Siebert week on the second half airing of July 28. The week of July 31-August 4 will be the deciding point. (that being do we get past September 26, 1983 or not)

The week of July 31-August 4 will be the deciding point. (that being do we get past September 26, 1983 or not) I looked up at my DVR saying (8/2/17) for both episodes meaning they will be going to September 27, 1983(the first 1983 show that GSN did not air but did air on USA). Another deciding factor is either the week with Rita Moreno & Michael Spound(October 3-7, 1983) or Shelley Smith & Bill Cullen(October 10-14, 1983) would be the first week of shows to use the freeze frame added on to the flashback intros and have the backwall change back to red when the lights get dimmed in the Winners Circle. I said that the latter would be the first to have those additional changes. Remember Josh Miller, the one who uploaded the September 1983 episode with Markie Post & Richard Kline, the SM copy has the opening slate, but the copy stopped right before Jack Clark read the Mystery 7 bonus prize, the USA airing went on to the entire ending so we can see more of the completely darkened WC area. Should GSN get to that episode, I am sure that Jennings would upload that on his Dailymotion page and stops recording after the Mystery 7 bonus prize(there was a time that every single time, GSN did the credit crunch right before the Mystery 7 bonus prize was shown).

I have Jennings in my contacts on Facebook, and I was told that he has had problems with recording material, and his DVD recorder gave out back in May (he never got to record the last week of episodes in the current lease of Card Sharks). He did tell me in the last week or two that he is going to take a stab at learning how to use a capture card to record material in the foreseeable but hopefully near future.

He was able to record the latest $25K Pyramid eps. in this lease, but unable to capture them to Dailymotion. They're still on his DVR. Meanwhile, from what Ivoryface just said, things DO seem to be looking good so far.

Oh, boy. We're getting there.
7/27-7/31 has been filled for the GSN Schedule. We're getting all of the Vicki Lawrence & Harry Anderson week, as well as at least the first three episodes with Audrey Landers & Charlie Siebert.

Is it me, or GSN time-compressing the end credits? The rest of the episode plays at normal speed, but once they get to the end credits, they crunch them, and play them at double speed. I guess this is kinda GSN's compromise; "We won't cut off the end credits, but we'll compromise by speeding them up after we crunch them, so you can see most, or all of them".

I just wish they'd use the time-compression software where the episode is sped up ever so slightly without any noticeable difference in playback. It can save up to 2 minutes on a 21-minute program, give more time for commercials and alleviate having to do cuts or credit crunches.

The 8/31/1983 episode aired at 10AM EST this morning had only two fee plugs after the Mystery 7 plug(they go to split screen after that prize is plugged) and you could see the CBS Recorded at TV City bit by the end of the GSN promo. Most of the Pyramid episodes they've shown of late have three or four fee plugs rather than the six fee plugs they had later in the run
Nipsey's opening poem on today's 10AM airing was somewhat inaccurate, he started it with "HUrricanes are all named for women", but by this point, it had been four years since Bud in 1979 was the first hurricane with a male name.

It could be that they're filling in a skipped episode with something from an older week. If they were going back, I'm sure they would have gone back to Deborah Adair & Terry Lester. 64 episodes sounds way too little for a double daily showing. Also, it looks like it will be the Thursday episode which GSN skipped awhile back. If they were going back to Adair & Lester, I'm sure they would have listed June 29-30, 1983. And again, clips from October 1983 episodes were shown in GSN promos in 2002. tvschedule.zap2it.com/tv/the-25000-pyramid/EP00004173?aid=tvschedule

Ah, that makes a little more sense. Once again I've been caught with my foot in mouth.

Maybe they're airing a previously skipped episode as the 10:30 a.m. broadcast so that they can launch the new-to-GSN episodes as of the first episode on a fresh day, August 3.
I think we all had the same kind of concerns when people were expecting the first Press Your Luck of 1985, and instead jumped to February 11, 1985 after airing December 28, 1984, only for the first show of 1985 to air the next day.

It's the few hundred of us who post in the online game show community that are the only ones that will recognize the episodes as being new to GSN. The shows airing now have for the most part not been seen even on GSN since the early 2000s.

Well, C.W., it says Markie Post & Richard Kline for Thursday's GSN Schedule.
I know this sounds silly coming from me, but hopefully, it's the one from September 1983. I say this, because there were three different weeks with those two according to the episode guide. I'm just glad it at least doesn't list Deborah Adair & Terry Lester or Constance McCashin and & Robert Mandan. Then, I'd REALLY know we'd be going back.

I guess we'll find out in the coming days. I see no reason why it wouldn't be the September 1983 week with them, but of course you never know.
As for me, I'm personally awaiting to see if the Shelley Smith/Bill Cullen week will air. Plus it is also beginning to look like that one person's claim of those episodes not existing is absolute crap.
