We're now at the week with Denise Miller & Earl Holliman, with a couple of notices, the tiebreaker is now played at the end of the first and/or 3rd segments of the episodes permanently, and this was the week where the Press Your Luck promos would begin airing for the first time.

Archie Bunker's Place had already been cancelled. Weeks after this aired, Denise Miller filmed an episode of Knight Rider w/David Hasselhoff called "Custom K.I.T.T". It aired on November 13, 1983.

I guess we'll find out in the coming days. I see no reason why it wouldn't be the September 1983 week with them, but of course you never know. As for me, I'm personally awaiting to see if the Shelley Smith/Bill Cullen week will air. Plus it is also beginning to look like that one person's claim of those episodes not existing is absolute crap. I had to look at the airings and it says (8/3/17) on there meaning that they will be airing at least a couple more episodes where the WC area goes completely dark to close out the episodes (I'm not too sure if the Rita Moreno & Michael Spound week continued to use this rare method though).

And the category was THings you Press in the second WC in the $250 box on this episode, and the clue Dick offered was "Your Luck"

Some of the weeks with three and four episodes were skipped over starting in the early 90s with USA reruns, to keep the celeb guests airing MOn-Fri I guess.

I think USA simply chose not to lease that week. One week with Mary Cadorette & Ed Begley Jr from 1984 didn't air back in 1988 (they started with Heidi Bohay & Michael Spound), but did air in 1994. USA also didn't run the first two weeks from September 1982, and the Linda Kelsey & John Schuck, Rita Moreno & Earl Holliman, and Abby Dalton & Leonard Maltin were preempted entirely for USA Sports coverage.

I think it's looking probable that new-to-GSN episodes are scheduled for August 3. At this point, I think it's safe to assume that Gregory Pearsoll's claim of late-1983, 1984, and early-1985 Pyramid is dead false, as he based that claim on the fact that GSN had this practice of jumping around between leases, which was also prevalent with other game shows too, including Wheel of Fortune, The Joker's Wild, Press Your Luck, and others.
The way GSN is going, it looks like we may finally be opening the door to 1984 episodes by September.

I'll let this update on Casey Abell's blog speak for itself. gameshowfollies.blogspot.com/2017/07/really-ticked.html#comment-formBTW, I wouldn't go up to Gregory Pearsoll online, and badmouth him for being wrong. I don't think it was his intention to bring these rumors up. He noticed that GSN hadn't touched Fall 1983 and 1984, and that's why he assumed that. But now it appears that he was wrong. So in conclusion, I will leave him alone, and never bring up this dispute ever again.

I assume you meant the update about the 25K Pyramid schedule, not the rest of the drivel.

I guess if GSN can show that long lost week with Shelley Smith & Bill Cullen, then there is hope for the final three months of Press Your Luck being rerun. If not on GSN, then on Buzzr.

The tie-breaker we're used to seeing on 80's Pyramid started today on the 10:00 a.m./7:00 a.m. showing with Dick at the podium, as opposed to going up to the two teams, like in the Blind Contestants episode.
On at least one episode when Bill Cullen played the game (June 26, 1980) they would play the tiebreaker in the same segment. They also had the camera pan up over him, to avoid showing him limping on the stage.

Okay, now this is becoming a wild Goose chase.
Not saying that the airings on August 7-11 won't happen, but why is GSN now listing Patty Duke & John Moschitta, Jr. for both Friday airings (8/4), when Zap2it is still only listing the Wednesday second half airing for August 8/2? What's going on here?
