Okay, now this is becoming a wild Goose chase. Not saying that the airings on August 7-11 won't happen, but why is GSN now listing Patty Duke & John Moschitta, Jr. for both Friday airings (8/4), when Zap2it is still only listing the Wednesday second half airing for August 8/2? What's going on here? Yeah, I noticed that too, that seems a little odd.

The GSN schedule has been filled, and we are getting at least four episodes from the last week of September 1983 with Markie Post & Richard Kline.
I wonder which one will be skipped? If it's the Tuesday episode, that's okay, because at least it's on the trading circuit from the Studio Master (albeit it ends after Dick signs off).

Monday August 7th has Rita Moreno & Michael Spound listed. Looks like we're on our way further.

Monday August 7th has Rita Moreno & Michael Spound listed. Looks like we're on our way further. Well, some of us got brainwashed the last time this week of episodes were aired anywhere if we didn't have at least one episode from this week from the USA airings. Based on the changes PYL made during their week, I'm assuming that this week does not use the rare WC area going completely dark to close out the episodes and is the first week to use the red backwall during the WC.

The only thing wrong with this picture is why isn't GSN and Zap2it marking the new-to-GSN episodes as "NEW"?
It could be that it's been 17 years since we last reached this point, and so many employees at GSN have come and gone since then, that none of them know what's been rerun so far and what hasn't.

All I care about is the fact that they're airing!! So another question is (pardon my ignorance) but what were all the weeks that USA Network skipped?

USA didn't air these weeks of the CBS $25K Pyramid, according to posts mostly by pyrfan at Game Show FOrum:
9/20-10/1/82(first two weeks) 10/10-10/14/83 11/21-11/23/83 1/3-1/6/84 9/24-9/28/84 8/19-8/23/85 12/23-12/27/85 9/1-9/5/86 10/5-10/9/87 11/23-11/25/87 12/28-12/31/87
Of those, GSN has aired 9/20-10/1/82, 8/19-8/23/85, 12/23-12/27/85, 9/1-9/5/86, 11/23-11/25/87, and 12/28-12/31/87

Just looked at the GSN Online Schedule. Sure enough, the 10:30am airing on Wednesday August 9th lists Shelley Smith & Bill Cullen!!! I am a happy man.

Now just for fun, starting with the next week of shows, I will list the date it last aired on USA Network. We're at the Audrey Landers & Charlie Siebert week, both of whom were also opponents three years later on the 4th $100,000 tournament for the nighttime version. The flashback intros started out a little weird (one or two clips, and then once they cut to the current episode, they would start the theme song over as the announcer said his spiel), not to mention the entrance archways are further apart than usual.
Last aired on USA: December 13-17, 1993. (These also last aired on GSN in April 2000)

When John was on Sale of the Century, he was introduced as "a pushover when it comes to animals".
