Also, for the week of March 11-15, 1985 with Joanne Worley & Bill Cullen, who was the announcer for that week, did they show the contestant partners in the opening intro and was Uncle Bill introduced as "from the Joker's Wild" like he was in the March 24-28, 1986 and possibly the July 21-25, 1986 weeks did(when TJW was in Choice Shows by then)?

Gene Wood did not introduce Cullen as "from JOker's Wild" on Super Password. Johnny G. did introduce Bill as from Joker's Wild on the March 1986 week of Pyramid

Now Brendan, can you tell me who Toni's opponent was for the May 28, 1986 episode and what was the Mystery 7 bonus prize that day? And for the July 2, 1986 episode, who was Lyn's opponent and what was the Mystery 7 bonus prize on that episode? BTW, I love to see the recaps for the July 7, 1986-May 1, 1987 episodes posted as well as the April 15-19, 1985 week of episodes, back when the $25,000 sign looked darkened although the rest of the WC area is lightened and Jack Clark was among the available announcers. A lot of your questions about the 1986 and 1987 episodes will be solved when I re-post my recaps.

Brendan, can you also please re-post your big wins for the NYC era with updates? I need them for the episode guide, which is using the ABC episode format of total number of shows recorded per year. bobstewart.fandom.com/wiki/The_$10,000/$25,000/$20,000_Pyramid/Episode_Guide (Copy and paste this link to the address bar)

Great. Everything from January 1978 to the end of the run. And any updates you may have for 1973 to 1977 that you didn't post originally, including the Jack Klugman & Tony Randall week. I might have missed some before the group closed.
Also, another question: How many times did a new pair of celebrities finish up a week of shows on Friday due to technical difficulties? Seems like it happened twice (January and April 1979). And I take it Didi Conn & LeVar Burton taped their first Friday episode in December 1978, and their full week in January 1979.

First, a few additions:
-There was at least one $10,000 win during the Anne Meara/John Forsythe week in 1974, according to an article about a contestant, but it doesn't say which celebrity won it.
-The category on which Paul Lynde won $10,000 for his partner was THINGS THAT ARE DELIVERED.
I know of two celebrity pairs who started on Friday and then did five more shows the next week: Didi & LeVar and Susan Richardson & Fred Grandy. Didi & LeVar's episodes were taped on January 17, 1979.

Below is a list of $10,000 wins that happened on the CBS “$10,000 Pyramid.” In addition to newspaper and magazine articles, this info is collected from a number of reliable people, including Fred Derman, Mark Guerra, David Mikelberg, and William Padron. If anyone has info to add, please feel free to share.
During the Sandy Duncan/Edward Asner week, Dick Clark mentioned that $360,000 had been given away so far. I imagine he was speaking about Winner’s Circle big wins, so that means the Pyramid had been successfully climbed 36 times before that week. Keep in mind that the Rita Moreno/Robert Vaughn and Anne Meara/George Hamilton weeks had been taped before the L.A. episodes, so those weeks’ totals were most likely included in that $360K.
A newspaper article about Noreen Wald’s win with Sheila MacRae says that Noreen was the 15th contestant to appear on the show. Since that can’t be true, as there were at least 10 new contestants every week, I think they meant that she was the 15th contestant to win the $10,000. Since we know 13 of the big wins that happened before that week, that means there was just one other win in the show’s first 13 weeks.
June Lockhart, Rob Reiner -June: 0; Rob: 2 (One was the THINGS WITH A HOLE win)
Nancy Dussault, Nipsey Russell -Nancy: 0; Nipsey: 1
Michele Lee, Jack Klugman -Michele: 0; Jack: 1 (most likely the ANYTHING UNDERGROUND win)
Pat Carroll, Jack Cassidy -Pat: 0; Jack: 0
Peggy Cass, Robert Morse -Peggy: 1 (most likely the THINGS THAT KICK win); Robert: 0
Rita Moreno, Tony Randall -Rita: 2 (One was the FLAT THINGS win); Tony: 1 (most likely the PICNIC ITEMS win)
Bernadette Peters, Dick Shawn -unknown
Jo Anne Worley, Jack Carter -Jo Anne: at least 1 (THINGS THAT GO ON THE HAND win); Jack: unknown
Lucie Arnaz, Mel Tormé -unknown

Anita Gillette, Alan Alda -Anita: unknown (Her THINGS YOU BREAK win might have been this week); Alan: at least 1 (THINGS THAT ARE SPREAD win)
Sheila MacRae, Peter Lawford -Sheila: at least 1 (Noreen Wald’s book says that Sheila had a double-header one day, but a former contestant’s online memories dispute this; we know, though, that Sheila at least had the THINGS YOU WIND UP win with Noreen); Peter: unknown
Pat Carroll, Charles Nelson Reilly -Pat: at least 1 (THINGS THAT ARE ROUGH win); Charles: at least 1 (THINGS THAT POLLUTE win)
Lucie Arnaz, Milt Kamen -Lucie: at least 1 (This is most likely when her THINGS IN A BOTTLE win happened, as she has a different hairdo in that clip than she does in the pictures I’ve seen from her week against Mel Tormé); Milt: unknown
Jack Klugman, Tony Randall -Jack: at least 2 (One is the THINGS WITH LACES win mentioned by a 1987 contestant); Tony: unknown
Cicely Tyson, Edward Albert -Cicely: unknown; Edward: at least 1
Fannie Flagg, Bill Cullen -Fannie: unknown; Bill: at least 1 (THINGS THAT YOU HUNT win)
Anne Meara, Dick Shawn -unknown
Peggy Cass, Joel Grey -Peggy: unknown; Joel: 2 (in same day, in each chair; one is the THINGS ON A CEILING win)
Anita Gillette, McLean Stevenson -unknown (Anita’s THINGS YOU BREAK win might have been this week)
Jo Anne Worley, Edward Asner -Jo Anne: 0; Edward: 0
Betsy Palmer, Nipsey Russell -unknown

Judy Carne, Gene Rayburn -unknown
Barbara Feldon, John Schuck -Barbara: 1; John: 0
Sandy Duncan, Edward Asner -Sandy: 1; Ed: 1
Loretta Swit, McLean Stevenson, Anita Gillette, David Spielberg -no contestant wins; two charity wins with Loretta and McLean paired up
Rita Moreno, Robert Vaughn -unknown
Anne Meara, George Hamilton -unknown
Pat Carroll, Tony Randall -unknown
Betsy Palmer, Leonard Nimoy -unknown
Jo Anne Worley, Soupy Sales -unknown
Rita Moreno, Jack Carter, Jo Ann Pflug, Tony Roberts -Jack and Tony won $10,000 at least once while paired up, according to a column item

During the second of three Hollywood weeks, Dick said they had given away $360,000, meaning by that point, the Winner's Circle was successfully climbed 36 times. These weeks were taped after Rita Moreno & Robert Vaughn and Anne Meara & George Hamilton, because the guests were originally supposed to be Lucie Arnaz & Tony Randall (per Dick's words) upon returning to NYC; Pat Carroll took Lucie's place at the last minute.
On which episode with Sandy Duncan & Edward Asner (anywhere from Day 1-5) did Dick make the "36 times" comment?

They might have included in the $360K figure the consolation money for WC losses, which would have been between $50-$500 each time it was lost.

They might have included in the $360K figure the consolation money for WC losses, which would have been between $50-$500 each time it was lost. That's certainly possible, but here's why I think it's unlikely.
First , let's see up a premise. As mentioned in the earlier post, the $10,000 had been won 14 times in the first 13 weeks of the show. There were then 19 more weeks that were taped before the Duncan/Asner episode where the $360,000 was mentioned. Let's say that non-wins accounted for an average of $2,000 a week. That would add up to $38,000 over those 19 weeks.
We know of at least 15 big wins that occurred between the MacRae/Lawford week (#14) and the Feldon/Schuck week (#33). That's $150,000. Add to that the $140,000 from the first 13 weeks, and that brings us to $290,000. Add in the $38,000 non-wins average, and we're now at roughly $330,000. That leaves just $30,000 -- or three more big wins -- over those 19 weeks, and that just seems kinda skimpy to me. That would mean at least seven winless weeks during that time.
Again, this is just theory and speculation, but 36 wins over a 32-week period seems more plausible to me.

Brendan, don't you mean first 14 weeks? We still don't know who played on the week of June 18, but that doesn't mean there weren't any shows at that time. So wouldn't MacRae/Lawford be #15 and Feldon/Schuck be #34? And I have a feeling Rita Moreno played again in July of the first year; you said it's highly likely she and Pat Carroll played again in the Summer.
And another thing: How come I never see any press releases for CBS weeks of The $10,000 Pyramid on eBay? I've been checking there day after day after day, in the hopes that I'd find some and piece together the missing pieces of the puzzle, but currently, nothing. I found plenty of taping tickets to help piece together the production guide, but no press releases.

I've been checking there day after day after day, in the hopes that I'd find some and piece together the missing pieces of the puzzle, but currently, nothing. I found plenty of taping tickets to help piece together the production guide, but no press releases. Through some production records that I received from someone at CBS, I learned that the preemptions started earlier than we had originally thought. They started during the Lucie Arnaz/Mel Torme week, and the preempted episodes got bumped to later. Because of this, there were only 49 weeks of the CBS $10K -- two fewer than we thought. Altogether, 242 episodes were produced. As we already knew, the final week consisted of only three days, and for some reason, there was no episode 68 in the records, so there were only four shows in the Sheila MacRae/Peter Lawford week.
The records, unfortunately, didn't list the celebrities, but they did list the episode numbers and tape dates. Using those -- along with tape dates from Variety, press releases, and other sources -- I was able to piece together a pretty accurate episode guide. The list of wins I posted earlier goes in order of air dates.
