You got the numbers and tape dates? Can I see them, please? I want to adjust that episode guide. What about additional preemptions we didn't previously know about?
And another thing: On the finale of The $20,000 Pyramid, Dick said 1808 shows. That ties in with 228 for CBS and 1580 for ABC (the final ABC show was #119-TWP-'80/#1580).

Sorry -- I looked at the last episode number in my database, which was 228. There was actually 242 episodes produced. The episodes taped in L.A. were C-1 through C-15, so the final episode has an episode number of 228. (The MacRae/Lawford week's numbers were 66, 67, 69, and 70.)
My guess is that when the $20K was ending, whoever provided the episode count made the same mistake as I did and looked at the last CBS episode number, then added that to the number of ABC episodes that were produced.
In all, there were 23 preemptions, with two of them -- Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day -- being planned.
I don't want to post all of the info in one place until I've confirmed all of the listings, as I don't want misinformation to be spread. I'll provide some info in the next few days, though. One interesting tidbit that I learned is that the first two weeks of shows were both taped over two days.

(As an aside, I believe the second 21-21 tie happened this week. I have no proof of this, but at the end of this challenge week, Dick Clark says that both celebs were awarded $500 bonuses for a “Mexican standoff” on Monday, and that was the term he used in California a number of times for a double perfect game.)

When you get to posting 1980, don't forget to include this just-discovered clip (video below).
Also, Eric Paddon said Reid Shelton never once made it to the Winner's Circle.

Original broadcast of the first Winner's Circle and three minutes of commercials from the 2/4/1983 original broadcast of new $25K Pyramid from what appears to be the CBS station in San Diego, as they run local ads in the break before the first WC. Perhaps Pyramid ran on a non-CBS station at the time. www.youtube.com/watch/?v=2RiN5wtcjZ4&t=102s

Below are the celebrity teams who played the 49 weeks of the CBS "$10,000 Pyramid," in the order that the episodes were taped. I'll go through which listings have been confirmed -- a surprisingly large number.
1. June Lockhart, Rob Reiner - Confirmed through video
2. Nancy Dussault, Nipsey Russell - Confirmed through video
3. Michele Lee, Jack Klugman - Confirmed through video
4. Pat Carroll, Jack Cassidy - Video may exist. Also, William Padron remembers seeing this week and noting that there were no big wins
5. Peggy Cass, Robert Morse -Confirmed through audiotape
6. Rita Moreno, Tony Randall -Confirmed through a press release that states that $30,000 was given away this week
7. Bernadette Peters, Dick Shawn -Confirmed through a correction press release issued on May 7th -- the first day of this week -- saying that Bernadette was a replacement for Anne Meara
8. Jo Anne Worley, Jack Carter -No confirmation, but Variety does report that Jo Anne left New York the day after this week was taped
9. Lucie Arnaz, Mel Torme -Confirmed through photographs taken on the set
10. Cloris Leachman, Larry Blyden -Confirmed through audiotape and a TV Guide article about a contestant's experience
11. Joan Rivers, William Shatner -Confirmed through a ticket signed by both celebrities
12. Kaye Ballard, Richard Deacon -Confirmed through video
13. Anita Gillette, Alan Alda -Confirmed through Noreen Wald's book and a newspaper writer who took a trip to New York and saw the shows being taped
14. Sheila MacRae, Peter Lawford -Confirmed through Noreen Wald's book and a 1973 article about Noreen winning the $10,000
15. Pat Carroll, Charles Nelson Reilly -No confirmation. However, it is known -- thanks to wins seen in the opening montages -- that Pat and Charles both had big wins in the show's first 26 weeks, and this week and the next were the only open slots available. The day that this week was taped (June 14, 1973), Pat and Charles appeared as Mystery Guests on "What's My Line?" Several other celebs also did Mystery Guests stints the same day as their "Pyramid" tapings (such as Jack Carter, Anita Gillette, and George Hamilton), so I figure this has to be when they played the game.
16. Lucie Arnaz, Milt Kamen -No confirmation. However, a newspaper article written in late August said that Lucie had done three appearances on the show (I think they were counting her upcoming September 7th booking), and another column item mentioned that she had just won the $10,000 for a contestant, and this was long after her May appearance. Even more, she taped a WML Mystery Guest segment the day after (June 21, 1973), so I figure this has to be her week. Since it's the only slot left for a male celebrity, I am suggesting that this is also when Milt Kamen made his appearance.
17. Jack Klugman, Tony Randall -Confirmed through post-taping newspaper articles and on-air accounts of several people
18. Cicely Tyson, Edward Albert -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
19. Fannie Flagg, Bill Cullen -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
20. Anne Meara, Dick Shawn -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
21. Peggy Cass, Joel Grey -Confirmed through on-set photos. Although no press releases confirm the air dates or taping session, Dick Clark was asked during his WML appearance how much money was given away this week, and since the show taped on July 19, 1973 -- the same day that week 21 was taped -- and Dick mentioned Joel's double-header, this has to be when it taped.
22. Anita Gillette, McLean Stevenson -No confirmation, but Variety says that these were the celebs booked for the July 26th taping. Also, it was mentioned during the first all-celeb week that McLean had previously played the game
23. Jo Anne Worley, Ed Asner -Confirmed by Fred Derman, who was in the audience for the taping
24. Betsy Palmer, Nipsey Russell -No confirmation, but Variety says that these were the celebs booked for the August 3rd taping.
25. Shelley Winters, Jack Carter -Confirmed through several post-taping articles
26. Lucie Arnaz, Tony Randall -Confirmed by David Mikelberg, who was in the audience
27. Gwen Verdon, Godfrey Cambridge -No confirmation, but they both appeared in the 1976 Variety ad thanking all the celebs who had done the show so far. Plus, they were listed in newspapers as that week's celebs, so there must be a press release. I just haven't seen it.
28. Meredith MacRae, Dick Shawn -No confirmation for both, but a column item mentions Meredith's recent appearance on the show. Also, they're listed in newspapers as the celebs, so there may be a post-taping press release.
29. Judy Carne, Gene Rayburn -Confirmed by an audience member
30. Rita Moreno, Robert Vaughn -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
31. Anne Meara, George Hamilton -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
32. Barbara Feldon, John Schuck -Confirmed through video
33. Sandy Duncan, Ed Asner -Confirmed through video
34. Anita Gillette, David Speilberg, Loretta Swit, McLean Stevenson -Confirmed through video
35. Pat Carroll, Tony Randall -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
36. Betsy Palmer, Leonard Nimoy -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
37. Jo Anne Worley, Soupy Sales -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
38. Peggy Cass, William Shatner -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
39. Jo Ann Pflug, Tony Roberts, Rita Moreno, Jack Carter -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
40. Anita Gillette, Bill Cullen -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
41. Bernadette Peters, Tony Randall -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
42. Joan Rivers, George Hamilton -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
43. Jo Ann Pflug, Nipsey Russell -Not confirmed. However, Jo Ann is mentioned in a Variety item as having been signed to tape a week in January, and a newspaper column item mentions Nipsey's recent taping. Since this is the last remaining open slot, I'll confirm Nipsey as appearing this week. I'll tentatively confirm Jo Ann, but I'd love to see a press release or newspaper listing to back this up.
44. Barbara McNair, Dick Shawn, Lucie Arnaz, Robert Vaughn -Confirmed through a post-taping newspaper item
45. Loretta Swit, Jack Cassidy -No confirmation for both, but a column item mentions Jack's recent appearance. Plus, they're listed in newspapers, so there may be a post-taping press release.
46. Rita Moreno, Alan Alda -Confirmed by David Mikelberg, who was in the audience
47. Meredith MacRae, Tony Roberts -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
48. Lee Meriwether, Jack Carter -Confirmed through a post-taping press release
49. Carol Channing, Soupy Sales -Confirmed through a post-taping press release

Now Brendan, since you told me there weren't any weeks with no big wins for the $50,000 Pyramid(this was marked as the end of the era for Pyramid at the Big Apple in NYC), which celebrities produced at least 1 big WC win for each of the weeks? Since the weeks were "bicycled", it depended on which stations carrying on which celebrity pairings aired for that week.

There was indeed one winless week of "The $50,000 Pyramid" -- the one with Susan Richardson and Ross Martin.
I'll see if I still have my week-by-week breakdown in print (kindly provided by Mark Guerra). If so, I'll post it here.

Now Brendan, when you get ready to list every single WC result and the episode's contestant partners like you did in Yahoo! Groups, I hope you can also total up how much total money(and however many Mystery 7 bonus prizes the celebrities won for their contestant partners for the week) and list the Mystery 7 bonus prizes that were offered each day. For all of 1982, most of 1983, all of 1985, 1986 and most of 1987 and all of the brief 1988 return run, it should be easier to log in each of the Mystery 7 bonus prizes on offer. You should also list the contestant partners guide for the $100,000 Pyramid as well. I know it's time management but it can be accomplished. When I referred to Tournament #9 having 2 men in the tournament but Debbie destroyed the competition, which of the 2 men in that tournament never stepped into the WC during the tournament?

One correction and one addition -- both my fault, looking at my notes:
1. Sal Viscuso had two $5,000 wins, not two $10,000 wins (typo on my part) 2. The qualifying time for Tony Reitano and Ron Draine in the last qualifying week was 19 seconds. Both broke their tie with the third contestant while partnered with Didi Conn.
