Sharolyn Sparrow, who was the co-host for most of the rum, is not the model on the early weeks of Split Second, including the first week of US shows Buzzr just aired. I think the model on this week's shows in named Terri, Monty mentioned her once. I thought her name was Lori!

Here's another change regarding Supermarket Sweep, the NCR displays now shows the word "TOTAL". Also, the Candy Corner scale readouts are now turned around. It won't be long before we see the first use of the International Bread Center. It's been a long time since these first half Season 5 episodes were rerun. IIRC, when Lifetime TV put Supermarket Sweep on hiatus, their rerun package only included the second half Season 5 episodes, but never got to rerunning any of the Sweep of Champions from that said set of episodes but came close, that was where Lifetime began inserting the newer 10-second ads and replaced the original fee plugs listing with newer promotional company listings.

I'm not sure what happened here. I was watching tonight's MGHS, and it looked perfectly fine. But by the time it got to the credits, everything moved so choppy, as if it was on film or a kinescope. I could tell by the way the credits scrolled so choppily. There was no smoothness and fluidness in the credits. An error in encoding?
Anyone else noticed this?

Catching up on last week's episodes and I'm realizing that if Buzzr keeps on with Eubanks CS, we'll be very soon getting to an episode where Lacey screws up a contestant plug and accidentally referred to Bob as Bill, which lead to a hilarious moment. I hope Buzzr leaves that in.

I hope Buzzr leaves that in. They just did, on last week's airings. Considering that by the time it aired, Bill Rafferty's version begun taping its second week of episodes. Oh, the July 21, 1986 episode was skipped but I hope you have it from the GSN airing Brandon and I hope Jennings Patterson also has that said episode in his collection too.

Hey! I noticed yesterday during Blockbusters, they left the fee plugs in at the end of the show? Could that have been a fluke or are they allowing the plugs now?

Blockbusters today had Kevin of the family pair alluding to the "new rule", which presumably was the 10 match limit changed to 20 matches, before it had been announced on the air. Bill said the new rule would get mentioned on air when the time came,

On the first episode of The All New Let's Make a Deal that Buzzr aired in the new line-up, that first contestant Tisha had one heck of a tight leotard on and very generously stood with her back to the camera much of the time.

More importantly, were there fee plugs in the episode? No, but as I mentioned, the fee plugs are apart of the pricing deals.

All New LMAD in season two had three fee plugs coming out of the second commercial break on most episodes.

Bah. I'm going to have to re-record some of these Blockbusters episodes when they're run again because I didn't realize my TiVo was cutting off the intros.
I'm kind of surprised they didn't have LMaD and Split Second back to back so we could have a little Monty Hall hour, but I'm enjoying what I've seen new on this network lately. This isn't the best version of Split Second, but it's not really a bad way to spend a half hour.
