Michael Terrell, who appeared on Press Your Luck in March 1986. THREE Whammies and EIGHT passed spins thrown at his face. $33,380 in one day. The only downside was that he didn't know who Pee-wee Herman was (comedian with tight gray suit and red bow-tie; the 1985 surprise Summer hit Pee-wee's Big Adventure helped make the character become mainstream). It was kinda like Michael Larson not knowing that F.D.R. was on the back of a dime. maybe so, but I still think it's funny that a $50 bill was a coin to him

There are long running game show winners whose runs we'll likely never see, like Ruth Horowitz and the other 20 time winners of the original Concentration, Lew Retram from the early 70s Password, and a few contestants who won 10 or more 70s Pyramid maingames before either winning in the WInner's Circle or getting defeated. Joan Diaz on Split Second comes to mind too. Burns Cameron on Jeopardy too.

Joan won over $50K on Tic Tac dough in Fall 1983, but could only keep $50K as because Tic was on WCBS in New York at the time, they had to abide by CBS rules and could only let her keep $50K(same thing with Joe Dunn on Joker). No champ on Tic in the 1983-84 season ever retired as champion upon reaching $50K, however, as I believe Rex Schultz also won over $50K that season

Michael Terrell, who appeared on Press Your Luck in March 1986. THREE Whammies and EIGHT passed spins thrown at his face. $33,380 in one day. In fact, he got his third Whammy in Round 1, but despite being slapped with eight passed spins in Round 2, he managed to win $33,380 all in Round 2, plus he became the first contestant in the series to break the $50,000 winnings limit in less than five shows. Other contestants I like: - Annemarie Carrera (Press Your Luck in June 1986)
- Darrell Garrison (final weeks of $ale of the Century on NBC)
- Rani White ($ale of the Century)
- Gene Snyder (Press Your Luck in July 1984, and Rafferty's Card Sharks early in the run)
- Hal Johnson (Eubanks' Card Sharks and Press Your Luck)
- Sheri (from Eubanks' Card Sharks in June 1987, who won nearly $60,000 in cash and prizes, including three cars!)
- Jeanne Pearce (from Rafferty's Blockbusters)
- Darlene (from Press Your Luck in February 1984, and possibly Bergeron's Hollywood Squares)
- The contestant who won $90,000+ on Wheel of Fortune before the Bonus Round - what was the contestant's name?
Also, could someone please clarify Sheri's and Darlene's last names? Kelly Grogan, the last ever big winner on CBS-era Pyramid. Cathy O'Brien also too, remember seeing her eps on USA Network. Mari Nicotera too. Who was Kelly's celebrity partner?

She then came back to the show, due to an error, on the final June-July 1988 CBS week with Charlie Siebert and Robin Riker Hasley

I've been wondering when did Lew Retrum and Martha Peukert originally play on the ABC run of Password. I know Goodson-Todman liked booking them a lot (they must have been the original Ken Jennings & Brad Rutter), and that they returned on some special weeks, including the short-lived All-Stars format. If we talk about Lew Retrum and Martha Peukert what about Cynthia Beckham on PP? She was PP's first undefeated champion.
