pyramidfan look at this taping schedule for February 1985 I found from eBay. It lists Super Password for February 23-25, just like your list does. But, it also lists it for the 26th. I also don't see Scrabble listed; maybe it took February 1985 off?  Do you notice that Johnny Carson didn't tape on Mondays, i thought that "Best of Carson" reruns aired on Tuesdays in the weeks that Carson was hosting new shows, but here it lists tapings for Tuesdays. My guess here is Joan Rivers hosted the Tuesday tapings since Johnny only did 3 nights a week. |

I guess that the 2/26 Super Password taping was cancelled. Then, Jay hosted Mondays, "Best of" was Tuesdays. Before Jay Leno, I believe the schedule was different. |

I remember they were shown on GSN immediately after that other All-Stars Week that taped in 1986 and aired in 1987. Case in point. The Lucille Ball week was taped the day that Desi Arnaz passed away. And, all the celebrity weeks aired after Gene Wood started whispering the passwords. |

How does Buzzr air Super Password? By tape date, air date or number order? I remember GSN aired some by tape date. By tape date, the first All-Star week was #530-#534, was VTR'd in late September(hence no split screen yet in the end game, then the Vicki Lawrence/Dick Christie week came afterwards, which also didn't have a split screen in the end game). |
