You also have a shot at our Jackpot of $10,000 after we finish with The Money Cards as well.
Here we go, we turn over your initial base card and we find...
...a five. You can bet on that or change it Greg, what do you say?

Oh, I just thought of something. What are the rules on pairs?

I'm not sure what you mean. If the next card was a five, you'd lose your bet, if that's what you mean. Also, keep in mind if you bet it all and call it wrong, you are bust and it ends right there.
If that's not what you meant by pairs, please elaborate.

That's what I was asking about, if there was a push rule. So, you're basically playing the Perry 1978-81 rules?

More or less, except cards don't move up. Each row starts with a fresh base card.

One-fifty...higher than that five?
(ding ding) (audience applauds)
Yes, it's a ten.

Greg using up the first of his five card changes. That ten becomes...
...a four!

Three hundred...higher than that four...
(bzzzzzzzzzzzz) (audience moans)
...NO! It's a deuce! That's four cards in a row without seeing a face card so far.
After voicing your displeasure about our rules, are you about to be done in by a pair of deuces? It'll be a hundred dollars or bust on this next call, of course you can change that deuce if you want, but the odds are certainly in your favor of it being higher.
I'm assuming you're keeping the two and going higher, Greg. What do you say?

As long as this next card isn't a two, you play on.
Is it higher?
(ding ding) (audience applauds)
It couldn't get any higher than that!
You made it through that row, so we award you with another couple of hundred bucks of betting money and we move up to the second row now where your base card here is...
...a three! That's six cards we've uncovered to this point and still no face cards! * looks over at Olga * Olga, you didn't take out the face cards, did you? (audience chuckles)
What next Greg?

Two-fifty...higher than that three!
(ding ding) (audience applauds)
YES! There's our first face card.
Five hundred fifty dollars to bet with, four changes remaining and three more calls to make. What's next Greg?
